I passed my PFCO assessment with Dronetraining, then the Aerial Academy, just over a year ago. I found the training course most interesting and useful and benefited from the experience of an instructor who was a professional pilot. When I came to do my renewal, this year, they were most helpful, even though I had some unusual requests in terms of drones I was operating, and I found their support for creating my updated Operations Manual very useful.

I did my UAV PfCO with the Aerial Academy in March 2018, The course was well structured, clear and comprehensive. The staff were incredibly friendly during the three days and answered every question I had thoroughly. Before taking my practical test, I felt well prepared and had all the information necessary to obtain an excellent result. Since Gaining my PfCO, the staff from the Aerial Academy have always been on hand to assist me with any queries I have had about various aspects of commercial drone operations and have pointed me in the right direction when needed. In March 2018 I attended and completed my PFCO (Permission For Commercial Operations) with the Aerial Academy in Swansea. The course was very thorough and gave me all the knowledge on all aspects needed as a commercial drone operator.
Jonathan the course instructor was clear, concise and able answer any question thrown at him. I was quite nervous about the practical flight assesment but was quickly put at ease by Jonathan who provided some great tips and pointers on the day. From my first application to the CAA a year ago and my recent PFCO renewal, the ongoing support offered by The Aerial Academy team is second to none. Above all if you are serious about working within this exciting new industry i can not recomend The Aerial Academy highly enough.

dronetraining.co.uk was one of the first NQE's I approached when I first realised the potential for drone photography within my working life as a professional photographer. I was impressed at the outset by their speedy responses to my initial enquiries, always prompt but never pushy. Other NQE's seemed to have a more hard sell approach that I am not keen on.
