Pontyclerc Farm House

I have travelled to many hotels, Bed and Breakfasts and Airbnb throughout the years over Europe and I would say this would fall as my top 5 favourite places I stayed! The host were absolutely amazing! They are A++ hosts! They are so caring and welcoming! They cater to you and make sure you really feel at home! Everything was clean and neat! my friends and I loved the breakfast! Top notch and I will be returning here for sure!

We stayed over through a longer journey but we were wrong. This place and it's owners Jane and Nigel worth driving 8 hours to see them and enjoy every bit of your stay in this beautiful place. Will definitely be back and this time for a few nights to enjoy the scenery, chat, walk and everything else to it's fullest.

Was booked in to here with work. The owners were lovely and locally knowledgable. It was nice to be welcomed and walked to my room. The room had lots of extras, including a chocolate Tregoes waffle and Welsh hot chocolate! Breakfast was made to order and was lovely to chat birds with one of the owners. Perfect!

My parents stayed here for a couple of nights and loved it. The room was super-clean and really nicely done out. Breakfast was great, but the thing that really stood out was the warm and friendly attitude of the people that run the place. Literally nothing was too much trouble. I popped in to see my parents in the morning, they were having breakfast and the hosts gave me tea and kept offering me toast! I will certainly be recommending Pontyclerc in future.

Myself, my partner and our 2 boys stayed this weekend and we must say how amazing the place was. From the way we were greeted, the cleanliness of the rooms, to the hostesses and the food… everything was perfect from the get go.

We stayed just the 1 night whilst we we visiting my partners grandparents up the road, but we were welcomed by the owners who were very accommodating, chatty and made our short stay very worth while, we wished we stayed another night!.

Our 6 and 11 year old boys loved the 2 donkeys ( jasmine and Rosie) who are residents in the forecourt and who were also very welcoming and cute!. The breakfast was the icing on the cake, a perfectly made traditional breakfast which we couldn’t get enough of AND all locally produced.

Thanks again for a lovely stay, Kelly and I will certainly be coming back in the summer to stay with you again!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Pontyclerc Farm House! I highly recommend the place as the owners are really nice, the welsh breakfast is awesome and rooms are quiet! Go for it!

Exceptional accommodation, breakfast and most importantly guest focused.
We stayed two nights and to be honest this is a business model others should replicate. From the warm welcome when we arrived through to leaving today it felt so pleasurable. The accommodation is spotless, well equipped to a very high standard. Breakfast of choice cooked to perfection with the service spot on and friendly. To be honest we were sorry to leave😂

Pontyclerc is an absolutely amazing place to stay! It is perfectly located to see things like Brecon Beacons National Park and the Gower Peninsula, it’s absolutely beautiful and designed carefully, and our room was spotlessly clean. And of course, the breakfast is delicious! The owning family is incredibly kind and lovely to chat with, we got some great recommendations and tips from them. We brought up a bottle of wine to our room on the first day and the next evening when we arrived home someone had considerately placed two wine glasses on the desk. Great care goes into this idyllic B&B, and we can’t wait to come back!

We enjoyed 2 nights here and it was first rate, with both Jane and Nigel great hosts. The room was lovely and spotlessly clean, the breakfast was fabulous, we really couldn't have asked for more. We will definitely stay again when in the area. Thank you.

Stayed last night 7th December. Pontyclerc Farm House is a beautiful family run B&B. We had a lovely welcome and our room was superb. Very very clean. The level access shower room was just fantastic. We ended our stay with a really nice breakfast. Deserves more than a 5 star.

Ponteyclerc Farm House B&B really is a lovely place to stay and Jane & Nigel thoroughly deserve all the positive reviews they get. They are exceptionally friendly and welcoming hosts, and the breakfasts are delicious.
We stayed in Y Llwchwr, which overlooks the front garden. The bed was very comfortable and the ensuite wet room is luxurious. The B&B was a great base from which to visit local attractions, such as the Botanic Gardens and Laugharne.
It's a shame we had a few days of rain, but that didn't stop us from doing anything and just gives us an excuse to return in the summer!

Stayed here as we went to a friends 40th birthday party on 15th October 2022. What a stunning immaculate place. Nigel and Jane were amazing hosts so warm and friendly Nigel is such a comedian. Couldn't get over how spotless the whole place was. Lovely comfy bed and bedding, lovely shower and the cooked breakfast was to die for. Thank you both for an amazing welcome to your amazing place. We highly recommend Pontyclerc Farm House.

We absolutely loved our stay with Nigel and Jane :-) They are lovely people and always happy to answer questions or give recommendations. Our room was very comfortable, the bathroom very modern and the breakfast was just perfect!

This is a beautifully kept and maintained old farmhouse with modern quality cottage style fittings and excellent facilities. It's comfortable and there's all the tasty breakfast you could wish for to set you up for the day. Jane and the family do a great job. This was my second visit and it's at least as good as the first. I'm so glad they weathered lock-down.

Absolutely amazing gem of a place tucked away at the foot of the Brecon Beacons. The owners were very friendly and attentive, and made us feel welcome and at home as soon as we arrived. The beds were extreme comfortable, the room clean and bright, and the breakfast was generous and delicious - what more could you ask for.

Totally a wonderful experience.lovely friendly people.lovely rooms+ggggggreat breakfast. highly recommend.8 of us relocated into the area so stayed our 1st night at the Farm house.even tho now live nearby,we will be treating ourselves to another stay here at some point just to experience the lovely'ness again.

Our stay can only be described as exceptional, from the hosts Jane and Nigel, the comfortable room and facilities and not to mention the hearty and tasty breakfasts.

Jane made amazing breakfasts (the eggs in particular were incredible-scrambled or fried they were absolutely delicious- a real talent!) The room was spotlessly clean and freshly decorated, gorgeous big bath tub...very nice couple, and Jane was very kind and understanding over a couple of difficulties I had with the booking and arrival time. I wish I could have spent a week there, 3 nights wasn't enough!
