This is the second time I have used Andrew Jones (the VAT man). On both occasions they have recovered all the expected VAT for my new build properties. I can highly recommend speaking to Andrew at the earliest opportunity, even before you start your project. He is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful making sure you have all the facts before you start spending on materials and labour. Whilst HMRC provide a list of what is and isn’t reclaimable there are exceptions and with Andrews advice we obtained an additional £720 on our fitted kitchen. Andrew and his team are definitely the experts in this field and their service is worth every penny!

Andrew offers a first class VAT reclaim service and to his great credit he only issues an invoice once all the preparation work has been done and the claim is ready for submission. Andrew is clearly an EXPERT on the subject of VAT reclaims and my role was limited to handing him a pile of invoices and signing the HMRC form. My claim was submitted on December 20th and HMRC agreed the claim on January 8th. If only more companies worked with the same application and diligence we would all be in a better place.

Recently used Andrew and his team with a VAT claim I'd attempted myself and dug myself into a hole. After speaking with Andrew he believed he would be able to resolve the issue after I had been attempting it myself for 7 months. 3 weeks later the HMRC have paid me my VAT in full. If you are ever in doubt on your VAT claim Andrew is the man to resolve it. There is so much to VAT and claims and you can't really afford to get it wrong, added to that it's also a stressful process especially when it doesn't go as you'd hope, Andrew brings a calmness and understanding. My only regret was not knowing Andrew existed before the build as life would have been so much easier. At the outset our intention was to prepare and submit a VAT claim ourselves indeed Andrew had provided great advice along the way. Ultimately, we used Andrews VAT reclaim services due to being totally exhausted getting over the line, moved in and signed off plus an untimely serious health diagnosis that need our strength and efforts elsewhere. The three month clock after sign off was ticking -
Andrew arranged to collect our invoices- went through the necessary information and then we sat back.
The submission was prepared promptly and sent to HMRC who received it 26 October 2023 - Andrew liaised directly with HMRC with regards to any queries they had. We received prior notification of payment and our original invoices back on Friday 3 November. I was expecting payment within 10 days but was delighted to see payment in full had been made on the same date (3/11) I had received my letter - that’s 8 days from receipt of invoices to payment hitting my Account!

Andrew and his team were so helpful in helping us get everything together to submit the VAT reclaim for our barn conversion. Despite a tight deadline (our fault) they were able to help us resolve a few discrepancies (our fault too) and submit the reclaim on time. The communication was excellent too.

Andrew is such a helpful guy. We are starting a new self build house and there's so much to find out.
After watching some of Andrews videos I emailed him with a few questions late last night. Before 8.30 this morning he'd emailed back asking me to call to discuss my questions. He was so helpful and was able to answer all my questions, freely and without any concern for cost or payment. He seems a genuinely nice helpful man and I'll definitely be contacting him about putting in our VAT reclaim, thanks Andrew.

I asked Andrew to complete a VAT claim for me and handed over some 600+ invoices to him on 5 October. His team analysed them and prepared the claim, submitting it to HMRC on 25 October. The claim was paid into my account (less one small amount challenged by HMRC) on 7 November. 33 days start to finish!
I could not ask for better service.
