What a gem this was! A couple of miles off the main road and in to a different world. The hosts were amazing and then lady spent time with the kids explaining things and then got the nets out to do some pond dipping. Found all sorts alive in there! This garden is huge and there's lots to see. There's a few places that are slightly overgrown, but it's a big place for just the two of them to keep on top of, and they do a brilliant job as it is!

What a hidden gem! We followed a one way road, off another one way road and arrived to the gates being shut. However the owners soon came out and let us in. It's their own private gardens that they have built up over 48 years from nothing but Marsh land. Our little girl who is 2 years old was given a dragon trail, so we had to spot dragons on the way around the beautiful site. At the end she was given a small treat which was so lovely. They have two dogs which before we got out of our vehicle the owners asked if we was OK with dogs. They guided us around and our little girl loved chasing after them and looking out for them. We could have spent all day there. They welcome you to bring a picnic if you wish to do so. They have a building where they have musical instruments and toilet facilities. Such a lovely spot. Wish it was less hidden away to encourage more people to go. It cost us £12.50 for two adults as I think it was under 3s or 5s were free.

Wow what a lovely find! We took our two children there today and they both loved it so much. Plenty to look at and there's also a present for finding all the dragons. Amazing owners and lovely dogs too

This place was incredible! Found via a fluke on Google maps whilst on holiday.

Things to note first:

1. Along a single track very uneven track like road for a good mile.

2. Parking a bit rough and ready.

3. Pay in advance or bring cash as no card machines.

HOWEVER!

The main attractions are incredible, the owners clearly love what they've created and we were greeted with a warm smile and maps. Kids enjoyed a dragon trail and there really is a wide variety of caverns, statues, sculptures etc around the terrain.

I promise you, you won't be disappointed, it was a real highlight of our holiday!

Really nice friendly owner, well developed area over 40+ years. Extremely well designed and thought out, would be lovely for children. Really enjoyed, nice place to be, only £5 per person to enter. Lovely friendly dogs.. could probably do with some more food but extremely friendly!

Amazing gardens owned by a talented and dedicated couple who we felt we could have chatted to for hours. Having undertaken a similar project, albeit on a much smaller scale, we very much appreciate the hard work and effort it takes to get where they are at today, and still going. Entry fee we felt is just a token gesture and would have hapoily paid more. Lots to see and take in for the young and not so young with many hidden features.

An amazing, magical place for children of all ages. An enchanted garden with lovely views around each corner and a haven for wildlife.
Our grandson very much enjoyed the dragon hunt and exploring the beautifully made little houses, statues and the friendly dogs of the very welcoming owners.

Visited here today, albeit the miserable weather, it made for a lovely visit! We had no idea what was in store. Absolutely incredible and the creativity is next to none. Everywhere you look there is something spectacular. The owners were lovely, answered any questions we had and it was nice to hear their story. We will definitely be back if we ever find ourselves this way.
P.s the tour guide will keep you on the hidden paths!

What a beautiful little gem!
The roads to get here are worth the journey.
A very warm welcome by doggies and owners.
The garden is a little piece of heaven. The imagination that has gone into each area is delightful. The inner child in me loved it.
I would highly recommend a visit here with children. So many things to explore.

These gardens manage to encompass both fun and tranquility. We received a warm welcome on arrival, before being left to wander the various paths. There was something to see at every turn.

Lovely gardens and a mini adventure for the children, they get to do a little treasure hunt too, lovely owners. Also goes to a good cause.
Worth a visit.

What an amazing and inspiring couple. We totally loved it and what they have done. When you think they have done it all themselves that’s what makes it inspiring. Our girls loved finding the Dragons and as I write they are wanting to go back, not bad for a 10-year old and 13 year old. Take cash please £5 per adult and £2:50 for a child. When we came away, which was 2 hours later, someone was returning to enjoy a second visit. Loved Boris by the way. See them on YouTube and what they have done.

Magical place, ticking all the boxes of what any kid or adult wants to find in a garden. Fairies, dragons, caves, treasure, temples, music and of course plants, both domesticated and wild. Follow the numbers on the map to be surprised, walking all around the wild parts, discovering quirky things and finishing at the garden heart... the lake. With framed views from all sides.

Just to let everyone know, there is a NO Dogs policy ,we didn't find out until we got there , so had to leave our tiny one in the shaded windows down car ,while we rushed around , great place worth the trip , on the way back pop onto the hungry ram .

Wow what a garden this place is! We were surprised around every corner, particularly the huge pond which is full of wildlife including dragonflies and frogs. The temple was also very special! Was great to meet the owners and chat about how they’ve transformed it over the years. Highly recommended!!
