Had a lovely stay here for our 40th wedding anniversary. A wonderful place to stay, very clean, well equipped and lovely hosts. A piece of heaven when we woke up the views where amazing, lovely walks and an added bonus was the welcome pack, the cake was beautiful best lemon drizzle ever, thank you for sharing your wonderful place and knowledge of the area.

Wonderful place..peaceful..wildlife in abundance right in front of terrace doors..
Incl woodpeckers..squirrels and many species of birds who visit the feeder non stop all day incl jays.
The valley views are spectacular..garden includes a stream and bog area plus livestock kept by the owners..ken and yola.
Incredibly clean..everything provided plus welcome pack of wine..milk..fab home made cake and a box of maltesers.
Even all the pans were clean!!!

Set in amazing scenery the owners are very friendly and professional. The rooms were clean, the bed comfortable and the breakfast ample and well cooked with a good choice of food and bird watching from your table! The first floor lounge was comfortable with TV, DVDs and CDs available for entertainment if watching the weather pass along the valley is not enough.

I am friends with the owners so have visited a few times. Stunning views from this property. Owners are very gracious, welcoming and care very much about their guests (paying, staying or just visiting for the day) the property and gardens are very clean, well kept and are a joy to wander around. You are in for a real treat when you stay here.

We stayed 22-29th May2021. A 'Paradise Setting'. A Superb cottage. Everything you need inside to make your holiday a perfect one. Amazing Hosts. Welcome pack on arrival ( we had cherry cake, milk, bottle of Merlot, sweets and a box of maltesers). Comfortable. Serene area. Looking out over superb countryside. Birds/Squirrels feeding on the balcony. Sheep in the field. A woodland walk to take the dog. Highly Recommended.

We've just returned home after spending a wonderful 5 days at Valley View Cottage. We booked for our honeymoon with our two dogs and travelled down the day after our wedding.

Kevin & Yola were so friendly when we called to let them know we were going to arrive a couple of days later than the dates we'd booked for. We were greeted with a friendly smile, a lovely card, box of chocolates and a bottle of prosecco.

The cottage was immaculate and the scenery breathtaking. We had a wonderfully relaxing time after a rather stressful few months of work and wedding planning. We didn't want to go home!

If you're thinking of booking then I would say stop thinking and book! A fantastic place and so peaceful. We will definitely be booking again in the future!

This is an outstanding place of beautiful countryside for miles and miles and a lovely quiet location. The cottage is beautiful and very well laid out with a balcony that overlooks the countryside. Very well presented and very friendly owners who are always on hand to speak with. Very worth a stay.

Just magical really don't want to leave. Gardens are out of this world Nd the views from the most cozy accommodation are out of this world.... Thank you Kevin and Yola. Jackie Michael and Zorba loved our stay xxx

Beautiful, clean and very well-equipped cottage. Breathtaking views. Extensive land to explore. Mesmerising birds to watch visiting the bird feeders. Lovely walks nearby.

Lovely little place, remotely situated on a mountain side, quiet, peaceful loveliness with a horse in the next field who is really friendly.
