Went for a day trip with my BF and found this little gem. It felt like travelling back in time, we really enjoyed the vintage look of the building and fancy tea pots and cups, lovely selection of tea and cakes. Very relaxed place, where you can forget all the worries in life.

I went here for afternoon tea and everything was great! The servers were friendly and fast. They were able to make all my sandwiches with chicken. The scones and desserts were great. I would come back here.

Very quaint and cosy old world tea rooms on two floors with a lot of charm. I had the green tea and was impressed to be served Japanese loose leaf sanchai tea, my husband had the filter coffee and a slice of plum and almond tart with pouring cream on the side which he thought was delicious. Worth a visit if you're in Bradford on Avon.

Great food, service and atmosphere. Lovely range of cakes, teas and coffees as well as a cooked menu.
Probably best to book in advance though!

Wonderful afternoon tea! We enjoyed the Empire High Tea which came with so much delicious food. The Chai of Madagascar is one of the best teas I’ve ever had. Highly recommended!

Had a lovely tea and cake here during our pit stop through the town. Although they are dog friendly, we weren’t comfortable bringing our large dog in, as space is quite limited and she would have been in the way.

They cater for vegans and have a large selection of lovely teas.

We happened to stumble into this adorable tea room while visiting Bradford-on-Avon. Roy was extremely kind and accommodating, he took his time with us telling us about the different teas and offering suggesting for cake. We loved the cakes, the carrot cake is definitely one of the best I have ever had! We will definitely return, and couldn't be happier with our first ever English afternoon tea!

Beautiful place to have a nice afternoon tea. Cream tea is beyond perfect! I loved the staff, too.
I would like to highlight the background music which is not the current radio program or fashionable pop music but lovely harp melodies, well audible but not disturbingly loud. It's a real time travel back to the past 150 years ago.

OMG what to say. We love cream tea and have been to quite a few all over the UK but this one topped it all.

The outside of the building was extremely inviting and made you feel like you were about to step into something lovely. Well let me tell you it is not just lovely, it was MAGICAL.

Waitresses were dressed in quaint period outfits. The interior took you back in time with really nice touches and then we ordered and the magic turned into something phenomenal when the food was served.

We ordered the Empress of India Afternoon Tea.
It was all freshly made, good quality food and proportioned perfectly not to leave you feeling stuffed.

Tea was served as fresh leaves and with an extra pot of hot water.

Amazing service.
Amazing food.
Amazing building.
Value for money.

YOU HAVE TO STOP HERE AND HAVE AN AFTERNOON TEA !

We would drive here from Kent for the day just to experience this again.

Very old tea rooms, in the middle of the town. Inside its very quant with the staff in Victorian dress. Food and drink are good. Large selection of teas.

The Bridge Tea Rooms is in a very old building, and the staff dress in mop caps and aprons. The decor is both in keeping with the building and very interesting. Food is a little expensive but freshly made and good size portions. The staff are friendly and helpful. The cheesecake is scrumptious.

Such a quirky place like a crooked cottage you don't know how it's standing. The eggs I had were delicious and everyone else's breakfast looked delicious too. Staff were lovely in their old Victorian clothes. The Victorian decor inside just fits this place. Best tea room in the UK it says on the door. Nothing to argue about that statement.

The food is exceptional, the tea is unique and the scones are magical.

The Bridge Tea Rooms arguably offer the best Afternoon Tea experience you could have, with quality ingredients and a very warm & friendly service!

Saskia was our main waitress today - her joy is contagious and her attentiveness to our table was highly appreciated!

Will definitely be visiting again soon!

What a great find. I came across this little gem by chance when out for an exploration of Bradford-on-Avon one breezy afternoon and it was the perfect cosy place to warm up and over look the river.

I walked in after being drawn in by the wonky façade and seeing the plaque that tells you about how old the place is. When I then discovered it was a tea room I had to go in.

Upon entering the tiny door which I had to crouch and turn sideways to get through I was amazed by the interior and greeted by some very friendly staff in traditional Victorian maids attire that asked me about any reservations. I quickly realised I had walked into a very popular spot. I said I hadn't booked and asked if they could squeeze me in. They said they would check.

A few moments later a very smart gent in a waist coat came and said they could fit me in and asked me to take a seat whilst they get a spot ready. Shortly after he lead me upstairs to spot just next to some stairs where I had a nice view straight out the window over the river.

Both rooms that I saw were covered in nik naks and ornaments all over. The walls had vintage and period art and photos. It was very cool and made you feel as if you had been transported to another time.

I ordered an earl grey tea and key lime pie. The tea was loose and came with a full tea service. Tea pot, strainer, extra water and separate jug of milk. It was all very nice. The key lime pie was great too. The whole place was busy with people that had obviously been aware of the place and had booked what seemed to be afternoon teas with trays of cakes and sandwiches that good too.

If I had a function or a group of mates , even just thinking of a cosy date I would think of this place. I enjoyed my brief visit and would visit again for sure.

Wow Stunningly beautiful Tea Rooms in a listed building. Very old England 😍 The Whole experience was truly outstanding. The wonderful waitresses are helpful and charming. Beautifully dressed and a credit to the management. All the tea items were tasty and well presented. If you can book to go please do, you will not be disappointed. Parking is available in three nearby car parks. Very reasonable cost. Great place to visit.

The most beautiful and inviting tea rooms I have ever seen anywhere! Lovely decor, really old and original. The waitress wore a pretty period styled long apron. We had the full works - a delicious selection of finger sandwiches, cake treats and of course light scones with jam and cream. The manager was very chatty, and happily shared his historic information. There was a full menu for other meals which looked good, but we didn’t have anything from the menu as we had gone just for the afternoon tea. We shall just have to come back and try some more dishes!
