Witherslack Cycle Barn Bunk House

Lovely place, really well located in the South Lakes, close to major access routes yet so peaceful when you're there. Great walking or cycling from the door.
Plenty of space, well equipped, warm, comfortable and homely. We were a group of nine, we booked the entire place and had a fabulous weekend and would certainly recommend it.

Absolutely amazing accommodation in a lovely location. Was invited to a friends Birthday/retirement weekend. A great warm comfortable place with everything you could need with the added bonus of superb hosts. Thank you, you have created something very special. Look forward to returning very soon. :)

Absolutely brilliant stop during cycling the bay route. Steph could not have been more helpful. Can not recommend highly enough. You will be glad you stayed.

Superb location and host. We stayed for the weekend. Enjoyed a walk from the bunk barn up to Whitbarrow Nature Reserve on the first day them as recommend by the host we went for a swim at high dam the following day. Will definitely come back. Alan & Andrew

Fantastic low budget accommodation. All rooms ensuite. Shared kitchen and lounge. Comfortable beds. Barn is in a beautiful setting and newly furnished so fresh and very clean. Great not just for cyclists but walkers.

Stayed there doing our Bay cycle ride. Superb place. Couldn't have asked for more. Clean, fantastic breakfast, beautiful location.

Brand new bunk house. Everything is great for bike and walkers. Peace and quiet. Only one there(monday) Steph wad really helpful. En suite in my room. Dog friendly. Not far from M6. No frogs in your room 😅

Great place and location close to bay cycle ride. Just be mindful if relying on community shop and Derby Arms for supplies or meals, not open as much as advertised on web etc at the moment. Gilpin Bridge pub ok but not great.

Excellent base for a cycling weekend with all the facilities you need and close to plenty of great routes - tip: ask the lovely hosts for some local expert advice.

Really lovely place - 'barn' does not do this place justice. Really clean, modern, warm and comfortable. We will definitely stay again.

Superb facilities in a great location. Absolutely spotless. The breakfast was lovely. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Very basic but excellent accomodation. Everything you need for a quick overnight stay. No phone signal but WiFi available.
