9 of us ate here on our holiday in the Lakes it was lovely, fast and kind service, brilliant food, fabulous price really reasonable! Thank you so much for having us we really enjoyed it! Recommend to anyone in the local area or visiting the Lakes!

One of the friendliest and welcoming pubs we've ever visited. Staff opened up the kitchen for us even though they'd stopped for the day. Warm and cosy atmosphere.

Lovely little country pub, log burner in the bar so nice and cosy. Food was lovely and served on hot plates. Good selection of beers. Great prices. Nice little selection of toys, books, colouring books to entertain the kids. Staff very friendly. Massive thumbs up from us. Will definitely be back again.

Brilliant host, lovely barmaid, food great and quiz every other Wed. Locals are very warm and friendly, great little pub.

This week we have been staying at the cottage Emily's Nook at the pub. This cottage is very comfortable, well equipped with plenty of room for two. It was lovely and warm after walking in cold autumn conditions.

We walked around Keswick and locally from the doorstep, great scenic quiet location. We may well be back within the next few years.

Excellent food at a good price. Cosy, friendly pub and dog friendly. Perfect for our little holiday Iredale. Would definitely recommend.
