Crowne Plaza London - Heathrow, an IHG Hotel

Very nice hotel after waiting 5 hours in que at the airport because British Airways books you to lose your connecting flight.

My wife and I stayed here the night before our flight back to the US. Some here have mentioned that the hotel is a little dated. That may be so, but in my view it is an excellent hotel. The room was large and clean, the furniture was comfortable, and most importantly to me, the room was very quiet. Some newer hotels don't provide the soundproofing that older buildings have.

The restaurant and bar staff were friendly and efficient. The dinner menu was excellent, and the quality of the food and service were second to none in this price point.

Ingress and egress to the parking lot were easy, and there was ample parking. Although there was a fee to park, it was less than some nearby hotels.

All in all, I would recommend this hotel to other travelers. And I certainly intend to stay there the next time I'm at Heathrow.

This is the second time we stayed. The first time there were some issues, the second time the staff made sure everything was perfect. Rooms are very good standard and extremely clean. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and a lot of choice. The spa was great, the children had amazing time in the pool, we had a chance to enjoy a lovely steam room, hot tube and sauna. The water in the pools is perfect temperature too. A big thank you to Alvaro for making sure everything was perfect for us. We are really happy that we could do our weekend again, the stay was amazing.

Swiss Air booked me a double room here for one night after my flight to Geneva was cancelled. The staff were professional and efficient.

In addition to the room, I was given a complimentary dinner and breakfast voucher. The dinner was a buffet which included desert. The food was average, not particularly great and also not bad either. Breakfast was also okay with unlimited hot drinks, cereals, fresh fruit and warm bread available to have.

I forgot my razor so I went to the reception to see if I could get one. They instantly gave me a box which included a free razor and foam which was handy.

The night before I stayed here, I had stayed a night in Holiday Inn. Personally, I found the Crowne Plaza hotel to be more professional and better value than Holiday Inn.

We stayed for one night before a flight. The room was excellent, decorated to a very good standard. The restaurant food was excellent. I'd recommend the tuna. The staff were attentive and happy to join us for a joke.
We had two weeks parking included which meant the stay was outstanding value. Highly recommended.

I had a last minute change of hotel from another awful one close by .Wish I had booked this first from the reception staff who were so helpful to the outstanding meal I was very impressed. I am extremely fussy when eating out but have to say the meal of super food salad with salmon I had at the brasserie was outstanding. That really made a bad day better. The pool and gym facilities were great and very clean which was another plus . Only stayed 1 out of 2 nights of my trip but wish it had been longer. Won't stay anywhere else now when airport duty calls. Thank you .

Stayed here before our flight to Canada and were thrilled to be upgraded to Club class as we got free drinks, snacks and breakfast. This was the perfect start to our best ever holiday and we also left the car parked for the duration of the trip.
So easy to get a shuttle bus to the airport and no problems with the return journey.
Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone flying out of Heathrow.

Fantastic hotel especially the staff. Had a 2 day delay/layover which is a nightmare but the staff's accommodations and service quickly smoothed it all over. Even though there was a gigantic amount of people in the same situation the check-in was ultra quick plus there was an issue with my keycard and when I came back the desk attendant immediately had another employee escort me to my room to alleviate the issue. Enjoyed the food and had no issue using my meal vouchers, the dining room staff was equally as professional cleaning tables in lightning quick fashion. The room was extremely clean, comfortable and made me feel at ease almost forgetting I was stuck in country. Hot water was immediate, the beds were so comfortable you felt like you melted into the sheets, and complimentary coffee was excellent. Overall this hotel is amazing, taking a harrowing experience and turning into one of the best hotel stays I've ever had. I commend the efficiency of the hotel and airline for such amazing service, I have nothing but great things to say and would recommend to any traveler.

Great hotel. We had a wonderful room. Check-in was crazy busy but quick, friendly and efficient . Choice of eating/ drinking so all was good. Taxi from hotel to terminal cost same for two as the shuttle bus. Would happily stay there again.

The hotel breakfast buffet is great! Also dinner at the main restuarant was pretty good. Menu was a little boring but the dishes we got (roast chicken & fish special) were well executed. Also kids ate free so that was nice. The pool and gym were really crowded while we were there so we didn't use them. The room was normal for a hotel of this type. It was quiet and the beds/pillows were comfy. The staff we interacted with were all helpful.

The Plaza is a very good hotel to stay at and enjoy a relaxing experience. The rooms are spacious,well equipped and above all very clean. My wife and me enjoyed our stay immensely and would not hesitate to make a return visit. The food quality was excellent and a wide variety to choose from. The breakfast was very impressive and catered for everyone's palate. We had a wonderful stay at the Plaza.

One of the better hotels near the airport but currently some work going on maybe now complete. Good eating areas and bar.Checking in and out perhaps not the best with inexperienced unsupervised staff but I achieved what I wanted eventually. Good breakfast choice and very pleasant lady at the reception desk.

Stayed overnight before travelling from Heathrow Airport. Family room was a decent size, be aware of 2 double beds. OK for us but maybe not for all. Only used the bar as early flight next day. Nice touch of milk and cookie for children. Friendly staff. Would recommend.

Great location, so easily accessible. Usually quite busy so finding parking is a bit of a nuisance, but the car park is very big so even if you have to park further away than you would generally like you will probably still find somewhere. Although it is pricey

The staff are lovely, always so willing to help and assist you.

The food is also quite nice and tasty.
The rooms are always nice and clean. I don’t really have any complaints other than the variety of foods available for vegetarians and vegans but I suppose you can’t have it all

My grandchildren keep wanting to go back to this hotel. Hotel and restaurant staff very friendly and accommodating. Good food in the restaurants and importantly, child friendly - the waiters in the restaurant went out of their way to make sure the kids got what they liked - big bonus! Rooms are comfortable with the usual bits & pieces. We'll go again!

If you are planning to fly out of Heathrow at early hours of the morning ... And your home is far away (in my case over a 100+ miles). Staying here, staying near is best option. It was clean, spacious, friendly staff ... A great big bed to sleep ... Made a big difference to the start of our holiday.

Great hotel very close to the Heathrow airport, but surprisingly you don't hear planes at all! One can defiantly get a good night's sleep here. The staff are extremely helpful and efficient, and the rooms are spacious and clean. Not much to do in the area (not in walking distance anyway) but there are plenty of shuttles to the airport and the trains to the city.

Stayed here recently for a week for some work related training.

Short trip from Heathrow was ideal.
I had no issues at all nor found any it's what you expect from a corporate hotel aimed at business customers. Rooms are great with a big desk and nice leather chair if your doing some work etc. Wi-Fi was good to very good which was refreshing.

We dined 3 times a day in the hotel for a week.
The Lady in the morning who greeted us for breakfast is a superstar please give this woman a raise a promotion because she is truly brilliant.
The food was always on point and a nice variety across breakfast/lunch/dinner/Room Service/meeting room refreshments.

On checkout I was surprised I had a charge for about 3 pounds or so I had made a call but only got Voice mail and hung up immediately approx 4 seconds I explained this and the young man took it off my bill which to me made it a flawless stay in my eyes and I have worked in this industry at management level in the past.

Room is large and. Modern. There are multiple restaurants and a small pub. Food selection was great, beer on tap. Well laid out fitness centre.

There is a shuttle fro. The airport for 5 GBP but the local bus is a bit faster. First stop leaving the airport and a 3 minute walk.

Free laundry on site with detergent provided. Great for weary business travelers.

I hope to return.

Very nice stay here. Stayed for 2 nights while we went to Legoland. Rooms are nice and the food is excellent, they have a bar and grill restaurant and a Indian restaurant which is very good. The swimming pool is also very good and clean. Staff are very nice and welcoming, no staff member walks past you in the morning without a genuine "Good morning". We would come here again.
