Here for Fusion at the Three Fishes - a seven course tasting menu created by Michelin starred chefs Aktar Islam, Atul Kocher and Nigel Haworth. A superb evening running for four hours. Wine flights available. Do look out for further food festivals - Booking is recommended.

Gorgeous food, to look at & to eat! The staff knowledgeable in what they serve & were polite & friendly! We had the 5 course taster menu (not particular happy about paying extra for veg & sides as was £70 each to start with)! Overall lovely, but pricey! Glad we went but can't afford to go often!

What a wonderful lunch experience yesterday for my husbands 76 th birthday and our 46 th wedding anniversary . We had incredible service and Nigel personally made sure it was a lunch to remember . Attention to detail is amazing . It was like eating in a Michelin star restaurant!! We WILL be back .. hopefully for a plant based meal with Kirk there as well 🙏🙏🙏.

Me and my wife came to celebrate a job, and I remembered three fishes from when it used to be a pub, was a beautiful place even then. However, it’s since become a fine dining restaurant with the owner/chef being a highly qualified Michelin star level chef. This is to be some of the best food I have ever had the pleasure of having and the personal touches was the cherry on top. From arrival a personal written note congratulating us, we opted for the seasonal menu which I would definitely advise anyone to do, and got the cheeseboard which once again I would advice to do. Every dish was utter perfection, and the little things, my wife was pregnant at the time so we had to be careful with the cheeseboard which the staff (and Nigel, the head chef) went out of their way to make sure of what cheeses she could have, and I’m not usually a fan of well done steak, however I had a try of hers (due to the fact she was pregnant she had it well done) and my God even that was beyond good! Words can’t put into context how excellent this place is, you simply have to try it! At the end of the evening Nigel even came out and visited the other diners and spoke with each table individually. We will definitely be coming here again.

What a treat we had today! Me and the Mother visited The Three Fishes and it really blew me away! Each course was exquisite and I really couldn’t pick a favourite. This has been one of the best foodie experiences I’ve had in a long time; from the super welcoming staff, to the very dog friendly atmosphere, we had an amazing afternoon. We will be back… very soon.

A wonderful experience to dine at the Three Fishes, one I won't forget for a long time. I'm due for a life changing op in a weeks time and will take me three months to recuperate after having my bowel removed due to cancer, not something I would wish on anyone. The op will replace my bowel and I will have a stoma requiring to poop into a bag located in my tummy so having a wonderful meal is a wonderful gift to my stomach for serving me well for the last 59years. I digress, the chowder was wonderful, this is always one of my favourite starters but my friends had the salmon mouse also wonderful. My main was the sirloin, steak is always good whichever restaurant I visit, sorry for the vegetarians, but good on them for having the will power to help animals live a fruitful a d happy life, possibly well deserved. I know I don't have the will power! Freshly prepared veggies and roasties which I believe are farmed on the gardens behind the car park. For dessert I had the rhubarb crumble with ice cream but my.friends had the cheeses (a £7 supplement) but were fantastic, soft, hard a d blue plus my favourite Tunworth! To die for and we all shared with extra crackers. The chef, was phenomenal and extolled his amazing knowledge of the cheeses, a masterclass and enjoyable in his excellent ability to know the .Akers a d their methods of cheese making. He even provided us with where to purchase the wonderful cheeses down the road near Clitheroe, we'll all be stocking up our fridges very soon!
An amazing Sunday dinner which after looking at the mid-week menu is even better for their daily menu which changes daily to suit the fresh meat, fish and vegetables their restaurant have delivered or home grow on the gardens surrounding them.

Parked before going on a hike as per recommendations...

Absolutely beautiful place but more upmarket than was expecting. Staff were lovely, food was excellent and had we been dressed appropriately we would have really enjoyed it but the menu's were limiting for a 'light bite' before attempting the hike.

We opted for 2 starters from the multiple menus we were offered (again, amazing food and selection) and with the complementary freshly baked rolls which arrived on ordering, and the mini Eccles cakes stilll warm from the oven at the end (also complementary) we were satiated. One coffee, one diet coke and water.

I'd fully recommend for a leisurely, luxurious culinary experience and will return in the near future

Since Nigel Howarth took over the quality of the food has been transformed. We had Sunday lunch and it was delicious. Lovely starters followed by roast beef, succulent beef, a good selection of vegetables, roast potatoes & a very tasty gravy. We couldn't fault it at all. The staff were well trained, friendly, efficient young people. Only gave atmosphere four stars because it wasn't very warm in the restaurant.

Had a great lunch at the reopened 3 Fishes.
Set menu, but just go and trust in the chef, superb!
Lovely also that they allowed our well behaved dog to sit with us. The service and food was deservedly 5 🌟 .
The scallop dish was made in heaven, divine 😇

Had a wonderful evening at the renovated and newly opened Three Fishes, the place now has a lot fresher, cosier vibe, its obvious that there has been a lot of time, thought and effort in its revamp. It had only been open 4 days when we visited and all the staff were lovely, attentive and very knowledgeable. The food that was cooked by Nigel Howarth (Michelin star chef) was exceptional. There is currently quite a limited seasonal menu but please don't be put off by this, its really worth the visit if you can get a table. Our table of six were all in agreement that the food was fabulous, especially the Hake and the Comiche pear pudding which was stunning.

We where lucky enough to book the private dining room for the 12th March 22, for my wife's surprise birthday party. From start to finish, with 3 months of planning right upto execution, I simply cant thank Jessica (Manager) enough for all her help. Patience and flexibility has made a most memorable occassion go perfectly, to create a long lasting memory, not only for my wife but our friends & family also. The whole team at this site are amazing, attentive, knowledgeable and most of all very friendly and helpful. There where many in our party whom have said they will return with their wider friendship circles following this fab evening.

A bonus for my wife was meeting Nigel Howarth and for us all to have Nigel & his team cook for us. The food was amazing, our friends were delighted by the seasonal menu and flavours. I cant recommend eating here enough for a fabulous experience.

We enjoyed our meal. Wouldn't say I will rush back, one time experience. For that price I would keep looking for something more.

Wow! Fantastic food, great staff. The bar man was friendly and informative, the waiting staff are very friendly and also very knowledgeable about the food they serve etc. Any questions we had about the menu were welcomed with a smile. we can’t fault it. Knowing that they grow a lot or all of their own produce is great, It really was a treat to be there. Really nice to see Nigel walking around towards the end of the night checking everyone was happy with their experience. We’d love to go back
Sometime.

I love gastro pubs and this venue ticks all the boxes. Great service, food and ambience. Highly recommended.
A large modern spacious carpark so plenty of spaces. Just need a driver in the party who doesn't drink but we take it in turns to take that role.

I arrived rubbing my hands, and left rubbing my belly, both with glee; an exceptional dinner and experience 😁 if you get the chance, try the yogurt souffle *chef's kiss*

Went for lunch on Sat 11th Feb, thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes on the 5 course lunch menu. Staff were all brilliant and looked after us from start to finish. The star of the show was the Lemon Meringue dessert. Would highly recommend a visit and can't wait to go back again!
