A Gobsmacking Thank You to Matt at Asda Rugby Petrol Station!!!!!

I am absolutely astounded by the extraordinary kindness I experienced from Matt at Asda Rugby Petrol Station on Chapel Street. I had forgotten my wallet and was completely out of fuel with no alternative payment methods available. Just as I had lost all hope in the bizarre times we live in, Matt stepped in and did something utterly unexpected and heartwarming—he paid for my fuel out of his own pocket.

Despite my insistence, he refused to share his contact or bank details so I could pay him back. His selfless act left me completely speechless and confused, unable to find the right words to express my gratitude. Such a level of generosity is truly rare and deserves the highest recognition.

Matt, you are a credit to Asda, and your exceptional kindness should not go unnoticed. You should be promoted for being such an exemplary employee. I will never forget your generosity, and a hope to see you soon again in the store. Thank you once again, from the bottom of my heart.

Great supermarket. Easy to get to, lots of options for parking. You can park and go into the town if you need to grab a bite to eat or do some more shopping. The staff are very friendly. ASDA has everything you could need

Excellent service from Lorraine on the customer service desk. After receiving a car parking fine which should not have been given- we spoke to Lorraine who contacted the store manager and happily arranged to have the ticket cancelled. Thank you . Service with a smile 😊

I want to say a big Thank You to a staff member called Tina that helped me with an online return today 01/10/2022. Tina you were so patient and kind with me when I was completely flustered! I spoke to your manager and she asked me to fill in a form online .Sadly I had no receipt so I didn't have all the details needed to complete a form online however I really wanted your managers to know what a wonderful kind and helpful person they have working in their store. Thank you Tina. 😊

This is a good store found the staff helpful after i couldnt find the loose tea, asked a lady there and she found me the last 2 boxes, were broken but the packets intact so brought
as seems like gold dust lately. So grateful to that lady for her help.
The cafe is ok, the staff i thought were lovely 1 particular woman dont know her name though and an older man on the till dont know his name so sorry for the older description, he was so lovely and helpful when i asked about cash back.

I returned and exchanged a faulty item and the customer service was excellent as were the customer service staff !!

Huge, well-stocked, friendly and right in the town centre.

The Staff are very polite and it is very busy to help people and there is a car park and there is a lift to go upstairs to the toilets and the cafe. There is accessibility for wheelchair enters to ASDA it is Security Offices there too.

I just want to thank all the staff and especially (Stav) as I was holding my 9 months sleeping baby and I couldn't scan the item, she came by herself and scanned all the items for me 🥰. It was so lovely from her. Thank you STEV 🙏

Have a vegetarian breakfast coffee tasted ok not sure if any modified products was used. and got some bits no issues and staff where happy to help.

This is a really clean, light and airy modern looking store with very helpful staff.
The toilets in here are also impeccably clean when I have used them.

Total contrast to the Rugby Tesco Superstore which is dull, very stuffy and outdated.

Just wanted to pass on my compliments to the two gentlemen who delivered my shopping. I have covid and was concerned about spreading the virus, by touching the crates. They kindly offered to bag my
shopping and leave it on the doorstep. Great service from them.

Brilliant click and collect today. Wonderful, efficient staff who are doing a great job at this difficult time. So sad to witness someone being rude to them. They don’t deserve that sort of treatment as they are true local heroes.

Location in city centre great, 2 hours non-paid parking awesome, staff amazing and great variety for all ages.

Guys, after confusion for a quite a lot of people
- parking in Asda is free for 2 hours. No need to use the machine if you are sure it's less than 2 hours. You pay only if you stay between 2 to 3 hours. If you go over 3 hours, Parking Eye will send you hefty ticket - maximum stay is 3 hours.

A good example of the Asda brand with a good range of goods and produce. This Asda has a good cafe serving inexpensive food and drink. The store has a pharmacy which, while useful, often has a wait for prescriptions. The store often has good bargains that have prices “rolled back” and offers. The supermarket is licensed and has a good range of alcoholic drinks.

People on the tills very helpful used self service oncethe woman who was manning them had attitude was haveing problems with a item pricing felt like I was taking her way from her chatting to a coleage ĺike others waiting for help being ignored

Staff are always helpful and friendly. Have often asked where things are. Huge stores - lots of choice - both brands and own brand goods 👍
