Middlemarch Farm - Dining & Carvery

Lovely place to eat. Proper pub grub. I had the smothered chicken which never fails. The cake I had was absolutely lovely (Mars Attack) it was lovely and moist. Had that to take away, it’s nice that that is an option. Ella was polite when serving us, no complaints from us.

The food was really good, I couldn't fault it although I could have easily eaten another Yorkie pud, 1 is a bit mean when they taste so good.
The Carvery meat was really fresh and looked amazing. Check out the cake display as they were a work of art, it seemed a shame to see them cut. The slices were huge, I doubt anyone could eat one on their own. I ordered on the app so I was a bit baffled when I was given a survey card with a name on as being our server? Our cutlery was dirty so we had to take some off another table but apart from this I cannot really say anything negative. Would I return? Yes, without a doubt. For our first experience it was overall very good. I loved playing roast dinner jenga trying to balance all the delicious veg on the plate.

I was down visiting from Scotland whilst my husband was working. I went over to the Middlemarch Farm for lunch whilst I was alone during the day. Whilst there I was served by Zoe and she was absolutely lovely. Totally put me and ease as I was alone. Was so friendly and chatted to me whilst she served me. I also spoke with Amber who was equally as lovely.

I really believe in places such as this it’s the staff that make such a difference and these two ladies were just lovely. They couldn’t do enough to help. The food was delicious and amazing value. I had the carvery and it’s one of the best I’ve ever been to.

I can’t recommend this place enough. If you are served by either Zoe or Amber then you are in the best hands!

Yvonne was really lovely! She greeted us with a smile & showed us to our table, all the while making our toddler feel special and welcome. The staff at the bar were helpful and patient as it took a while for us to login and get a Bluelight discount code. Food was great. My little girl enjoyed the indoor soft play area. I recently had the pleasure of dining with friends at this restaurant, and I must commend the staff especially Zoe & her work colleagues for providing truly fantastic customer service. From the moment we entered, the hospitality was exceptional. The waitstaff Zoe was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was enjoyable. The recommendations for dishes were spot-on, and the attention to detail did not go unnoticed. The seamless coordination among the staff added to the overall positive atmosphere. Well done to your whole team for making our retired staff reunion, reminiscing about the good old days when we worked together. memorable. We look forward to returning soon.

Such a great place, amazing service & food! Karla was really lovely & friendly and could answer all of mine & my friend’s questions. She was super helpful & really knew what she was talking about! All other staff were lovely too! A nice chilled atmosphere in this pub! Would definitely reccomend visiting here!

Middle march farm had been redo again more refresh and new staffs. So friendly and deaf awareness! Disabled friendly too! My favourite is dessert lol

Was served today by Amber and Daniel. Absolutely amazing people fantastic food and a all round wonderful atmosphere is worth the 40 minute drive from Leicester. This is my new local restaurant!! Thank you guys so much

The cakes look great, but I wouldn't say they are great tasting - let down IMO.

Really good value for money. Yvonne was absolutely brilliant such a lovely service. It’s now my uncles favourite place we will definitely be returning. Carvery is more than enough and even the main menu has great portions! 10/10

Mothering Sunday is not an ideal time to visit a resturant, but staff here were amazing, I had booked but then changed my booking and they accommodated my request with no hassle, staff who took our orders, served at carvery and waited at table were all friendly pity and helpful.

Fantastic service and food here today! Visited after the nearby soft play 2 adults , 3 children. Staff went above and beyond to ensure our visit was enjoyable.

The gammon wasn't ready when we had our carveries as we were there early but Amber brought us a slice for my daughter when it was ready which made her day. All of the food we ordered was delicious. My one small disappointment was that the parsnips weren't on the carvery, not sure if this is a seasonal thing.

My niece has a dairy/soya/egg allergy and unfortunately the restaurant had ran out of vegan ice cream. Amber and Zoe were very helpful offering alternatives which we could check the allergens for. We checked the lemon sorbet on the Farmhouse inns site which said it contained milk and eggs. This is very unusual so Amber and Zoe offered to get the tub for us so that we could check the allergens listed on the label. This showed no allergens and so the children could all have a dessert together.

The team members were all so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you and we will be returning soon!

We really loved this. The food was excellent, we had a carvery and the choice was very good. My wife is vegetarian and the pie she had was very tasty. The staff were all friendly and attentive. Served by Yvonne.

Decided to have a Sunday carvery for once. Unfortunately, everyone seemed to have the same idea, so it was very busy. That said, we were advised of the waiting time and decided to get a drink first. At the time advised, we were taken to our table, which was close to the children's play area. We were offered an alternative table, but only if we re-joined the allocation queue, which was fair enough, but we decided to just sit and eat our meal, as it wasn't too bad. At least the offer had been made. Due to the throughput of diners, the food was piping hot and very nice. Would dine there again, but might select a less busy time, if possible. They must be doing something right, to have the amount of custom they had while we were there.

We came here yesterday (Sunday) for a carvery. The food was lovely, the meat melted in my mouth as it was cooked to perfection as was the veg. Great portion size and superb value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we will definitely be returning.

Thank you team, especially Amber and Hailey. They were really welcoming on our work Christmas meal. Rounds of drinks were brought out really quickly and were really tasty - thank you Hailey. Food was prompt, hot and well made.

The mixed grill was okay, but the cakes are really good. Highly recommend for the cakes alone

Gammon, turkey, beef, three types of meat, various vegetables, and a rich gravy sauce... Carvery on weekday afternoons at Middlemarch Farm is highly recommended in terms of quality and price. Special thanks to the lovely and friendly staff Zoe for the great service with a smile! 😊

Visit 3-4 times a week for the Carvery. Incredibly friendly and attentive staff.
Always met with an infectious smile, whether it be Amber, Karla, or Ella-Rose. So on days when I'm not feeling great, a simple and friendly interaction is a good boost for the ol' morale! Would recommend to anybody that enjoys a fresh carvery, and at £6.50 for a plate who can complain? I'd spend the same next door in Mcdonalds or KFC so in terms of affordability and convenience, I'd rate it a solid 10/10, for my situation anyway. (can't/no time to cook🌚)

We attended Saturday in a large party, a mixture of adults & children.
When it came to ordering a lady named Dee served us, she was very helpful and assisted us as we had explained we tried to order using the app and it wasn’t working with our payment method.
Dee has excellent customer service skills.
We had a carvery, the beef and turkey I had was slightly dry but it’s to be expected on a carvery but it was still edible and nice. My partner had the gammon which he said was very moist and nice.
Kids meals were an absolute bargain and I had 3 very happy kids especially as they got ice cream after.
Desserts are reasonably priced for the quality of them.

Will definitely return !
