Ikbals Kitchen

My son and I are sampling take away foods in our local town to see which we prefer. It’s a Saturday night after work thing.
We were greeted in Ikbal by Ash who was a polite & friendly host asking if we had ordered and then if we had eaten there before. He allowed us time to look through the menu and order then offered us both a complimentary drink while we waited. He & my son talked and joked about life and the food was ready within 15 minutes. We had a chicken tikka masala and a lamb tikka rogan Josh with rice, naan and popadoms.
Ash gave us a 10% discount for collecting in person and hoped we enjoyed our food.
Overall the service was excellent, our food was good with plenty of meat. The dishes were both a little sweeter than expected but delicious. It was good value and we can recommend

Excellent food but not keen on the urchins at front of house. Children should never be at the helm of an eat in establishment. We gave a way over the average tip for our food because it was very good but was met with no acknowledgement from the infants that took our payment. They are indicative of being young and English and not of anything else, which is an unfortunate malaise of our society. Next time i will just order a takeaway so as not to deal with that, because the food was great.

Well, we'll certainly be going here again. A refreshing surprise. A fantastic and carefully created blend of herbs and spices, each easily identifiable. It's difficult to find a good restaurant and this one has been uncovered for many a future reference. A traditional kitchen it is indeed.

Ikbals is one of the most friendly restaurants I have ever been too. What a lovely & genuine restaurant. Any request & Ikbal will sort it. Fantastic place & highly recommended for authentic Indian cuisine. Very worth a visit for an authentic Indian experience. Keep up your good work Ikbal

ordered a takeaway and it came 10 minutes late due to it being a Saturday. The chef himself come out and apologised also gave me a drink for free which was nice of him. The food itself was really good. Would come back.

Used Ikbals Kitchen for the first time last night, absolutely spanking it was.
Had the meal delivered to the caravan as we staying at Lime Tree Caravan Park.
It turned up on time, piping hot and very delicious.
Will definitely be using Ikbals again. 👍👍

Very nice curry meat very tender and amazing egg fried rice.

Wonderfully food and even better service. I lived in Birmingham for 40 Year's and have eaten in some of the best curry houses, still think you would be hard pressed to find a better curry than Ikbals.

It's my choice of local Indian as I use it often and have always had good food from them hence my frequent visiting and the staff and the owner are always pleasant and friendly, definitely recommended 👍👌
