Thann Thai

The second time I have been here , the first time was when they first opened ( I don't get out much 😭) . My son came to visit me from Scotland so we went out for a meal and he doesn't have Thai very often as his partner doesn't like it rack to their own ?? But we had an amazing meal well worth the visit. The food and service was excellent.
It's walking distance for me so as an added bonus I have a Thai beer . Will definitely go back soon, maybe valentine's Day if they do a table for one ! 😢.

Beautiful, well though out decor and atmosphere l. Cozy with a couple of romantic nooks. The food has excellent presentation with flavour to match. We ordered the starter plater for 2, the lamb shank massamam and tom yum. Lamb was rich but not fatty, the sauce was not overly sweet and the rice's were excellent. Real depth of flavour and complexity you expect with Thai food. Everything is evidently fresh with attention to detail in the plating. Very good value for money. We will be returning with our appetites prepared.

We visited this restaurant a few years ago when they were located in Chertsey. It was amazing back then and it has now relocated to weybridge.
We wanted to go and check it out and we weren't disappointed. Food is excellent, really tasty and well presented.
Prices are very reasonable and the staff are so friendly and attentive.
A couple of minor downsides are there's only one toilet per male and one per female which can get busy.
A little tight with regards to seating but it's not the worst we've experienced.
Although in the warmer months there is an outside seating area.
Highly recommended for a great night of food and drinks.
Will certainly return.

AMAZING Thai Food in the London area!! The staff here top-notch. I'm only sad that I didn't order from the Special Menu seeing how delicious the food from the standard items available. I asked if they could make the Pad Thai spicy, and they did not disappoint! It was heavenly. This is definitely worth the drive. Family friendly, charming, cozy.

Enjoyed a fantastic meal at Thann Thai. Food was out of this world. Authentic and delicious (highly recommend the giant prawns & beef stir fry). The service was warm and friendly and felt totally genuine. This now our go-to Thai!

Thann Thai was such a great experience- the staff were lovely and the food was absolutely fantastic🌱 superb quality that you could tell was made from completely fresh ingredients and presented beautifully too!

Absolutely fabulous food, great customer service and friendly staff, must make a reservation for the weekend , beef stir fry with onions, peppers and cashews and the garden fish was excellent

Absolutely fantastic on all counts. Food was outstanding, service exceptional and a great atmosphere. Great value too. Oh and the wine was excellent as well.

Been reading about this place on social media and been dying to find out what the hype is all about. So here it goes...

WHOA! Wait, where did this restaurant appear from?! WOW! what an amazing experience! The food was stunning! We had so many Thai's in our time but nothing, nothing in the UK comes close to this place. Everything was fragrant, fresh, aromatic. The Tom Yum was full of flavours, tangy and on point. The homemade fish cakes were mouth watering, with fresh herbs & spices. The Chor Muang (little dumplings) were amazing,haven't tasted such mouth exploding party piece of flavour in a long time.
Then came the mains, wow. The beef massaman was to die for, so creamy & rich but balanced perfectly with a hint of spice. Tried coconut beef for the 1st time, but wont be the last I tell you! Went very well with the creamy massaman as this coconut chilli & lime beef dish just "BANG!" wakes up your palette, with mouthful of freshness! Pad thai, well, all I can say is, perfect in every way... seasoning, moisture, freshness of chicken. The chicken was cooked fresh, so juicy. None of that pre prep rubbish you get else where serving dry chicken.

Very fast, prompt, efficient service, service with a smile! Excellent in every way. 5* all day long.

All those describing phases: "hidden gem" "little gem" "unique fine" "authentic" etc... its here. All here. Taste of Thailand for sure.

An absolute gem and a great find! Super Thai food paired with even better service. Highly recommend the red curry and fried calamari.

I got a takeaway but wished I sat in. The rice was very tasty. Makes me wonder if they add other ingredients to it. The red duck curry was nice. I would visit again and try another dish. If the simple dishes like rice are super tasty then I'm keen to try the other dishes. I recommend the egg fried rice.

Food is excellent, started with mieng kham and paton kho salad, fresh, tangy amd spicy taste - I had tried nothing like this before. Mains were on the same level lime and chilli seabass simply steamed but flavor packed and the pad thabi chicken very unique here! Prices are good too, couple of drinks amd 2 courses for 2 paid £60

We have lived in weybridge for 10 months now and can’t believe that this was our first visit. The food was exceptional and very reasonably priced. We love Thai and honestly was one of the best we’ve had. (Wine also very well priced). We will definitely be regulars now. Thank you!!!

I have been there several times with different people. Never had a bad meal with them. Authentic Thai food which is reasonably priced, staff is friendly, restaurant is nicely decorated.

Always love it here. Intimate atmosphere. Great quality food. I especially love the betel nut starter. I’ve never had it anywhere else.

It's in a tiny street, so you will need to find a car park and walk there. Bookings often needed as they are often full.
