Shepperton Medical Practice

I’ve been going here for 5 years and I have nothing but good things to say about the practice. I’ve seen many different doctors and they have all treated me with compassion and professionalism. Dr Hodge, in particular, has helped me through some really tough times.

Booking an appointment is generally easy to do if you call at 8am and the staff are always lovely.

Brilliant experience last Friday at Shepperton Medical Practice. I was nervous going in there after all the negative comments on Facebook and Google - first time going in since moving to Shepperton, however it was a thoroughly positive experience from start to finish. The receptionist was so helpful and patient with me, printed my prescription for Trio in case of any digital issues, and doctor was highly professional and reassuring and answered all my queries. Really impressed.

Well I honestly am so happy and I commend Shepperton medical practice yet again, 🥇, I was running short of a prescribed medication and thought because it is Easter this weekend that I would put my prescription in a couple of days early and I left a little note of this on my entry to the pharmacy dept and I thought well that’s done and THEN just now was a knock on my door from easy pharmacy bless their heart delivering my medication 6.5 hours later , omg I’m a smiling old man bless their hearts 💕, so please 🙏 be kind to them because if it’s within their power they WILL DO IT 🥇👏👏❤

I rang my doctor’s surgery last evening to see about my referral to St Peter’s hospital endoscopy unit and was told it was sent on 8th December23 , I rang St Peter’s hospital to be told by them they hadn’t received any referral, I rang my Shepperton medical practice this morning to ask about this and had the pleasure of speaking to LINDA WARD bless her whereby she informed me of all the relevant information etc etc in a really lovely, friendly EFFICIENT MANNER , and guess what ? Yep THE UTTERLY USELESS ST PETERS HOSPITAL HAD LIED TO ME !!! My medical practice is reliable, efficient and friendly and I give them gold medals 🥇🏆 every time, why isn’t there a body of people watching over the useless St Peter’s hospital omg because at 66 years old we don’t need the worrying

Called them after 2pm, explained my situation to a very nice and helpful receptionist, i got a call back from the doctor after 2 hours and got appointment later on. Lovely young female doctor helped us . Thank you

I recently had to contact the Practice following a Stroke my father had, they couldn't be more helpful and understanding, needed help with change of address, repeat prescription and referral, all done without any dramas, sometimes we just need to be patient and realise everyone is doing their best..... thank you

The receptionists are so helpful and the doctors and nurses are always great. I've never had any problems getting an appointment with this surgery :)

It is the easiest thing in the world to complain and sometimes justifiably. Giving positive feedback often escapes us. I have been with this practice for 14 years and whilst there can always be improvements (emails before 8am?) I have never had nothing but a positive response and service from this Surgery. A certain GP has basically saved my life. Disagree with me if you wish. I would still commend them as amazing and a credit to the NHS.

I've had nothing but the best service from shepperton medical practice, the receptionists, and doctors, nurses, have shown kindness, understanding, and do there best to accommodate my needs.
Having gone through cancer, I've found how wonderful the staff are, they try their best, to help all patients,.
Makes me sad to read the awful reviews, remember they are also human.....show respect, to our amazing team at shepperton medical practice...

In defence of the surgery and recent negative comments, I have never had better treatment, even during lockdown. I am able to access all the services I need on their website, by clicking Reception/Enquiries you can leave a message for reception. I have always had a reply within a few hours, whether is was getting test results, or getting a triage call from a Doctor. I have had to attend the surgery twice recently, only as they were things that could not be done over the phone, but the service was amazing, especially the doctors/nurses carrying out treatments in full PPE. Even when we are out of lockdown I will be happy to carry on contacting the surgery online. Perhaps they could consider a dedicated phone line for the very vulnerable elderly patients who don't have access to the internet or anyone to help them?

My experience of previous visits to this surgery has varied but I’ve always been treated with curtesy. Yesterday I asked for a referral letter by email and the letter was in my hand early today. I’m grateful for admin and medical staff’s attention.

Excellent care by the nurses, Mollie, Lesley and Polly over a number of appointments. A big thank you from this patient for the professional treatment that I received.

Having used the on line form (it took a couple of days before it was available - it’s better to use it just after 8 am) I received a call from the doctor and an appointment made within a couple of hours.

Although the staff are under a serious amount of pressure due to Covid 19 they still smile and treat you with respect and professionalism. The doctors are great and the so is everyone else.

two women from helped me with a medication issue and were so incredible helpful, staying on the phone with me whilst working out exactly how to help and being so kind and understanding. Thank you so much.
