Located down a dead end lane and almost hidden amongst trees, St. Andrew's is a beautiful church that deserves to be better known. The church has fabric dating from Norman times (see the doorway on the south side and one just inside the tower arch). The thatched nave is 13thc. and the large chancel with its beautiful east window is 14thc.
Among the treasures to be found inside are a seven sacrament font with original colour, a relic of a rood screen with painted Saints and fragments of wall paintings including one of St. Christopher.

At our time of visiting (Jan 2021) the church is closed while repairs are taking place. I don't know how long they are planned to last. If you are arriving by bike or car there is space to park a couple cars at the front. There are a number of footpaths close by if you fancy a walk in the countryside.
