Urban Jungle Plant Nursery Suffolk

We visited Urban Jungle for the first time last week.

WOW what a place ! So magical… loved sitting amongst the beautiful plants while having the most yummiest hot chocolate I’ve ever had & Willow our dog had her own bowl of frothy milk thanks to our server Nessa who went above and beyond to ensure Willows drink was perfect, even put ice into it to cool it down ❤

Also Willows coat matched the crocheted blankets which made my day xx

Thank you Nessa for making our visit truly special.

Will we be back for another visit very soon.

Visited 23 August 2023...oh WOW what a lovely little gem of a Garden Centre. Just into Suffolk at Beccles.
The stock of plants, many unusual are in great condition, the centres layout good, plenty of room to use garden trollies & for those in wheelchairs easy access even between the staging.
The choice of garden pots, something for everyone's taste & pocket... well impressed.
There was a small Cafe which appeared a little quirky & interesting with seats/tables of all description spread amoung the Indoor tropical plants section, outside sofa's /benches within the Indoor/outdoor part of the centre. We didn't use cafe on this occasion but may well do on our return 😋
The staff were very welcoming, knowledgeable & very helpful & obliging.
The staff member who helped us.... Ollie, I cannot praise enough, he helped in lifting heavy pots onto a trolly, then kindly proceeded to help pack several big pots into our car. So thankyou Ollie your personal help & attention was so appreciated on what was an incredibly hot day, what an ambassador for URBAN JUNGLE you should feel proud of your excellent service you gave us, in this ever changing world & climate was refreshing to experience such a tremendous service from start to finish. THANKYOU.
The on site show garden is looking good also.
We will be back especially as THE UK climate changes we are all going to NEED TROPICAL PLANTS IN OUR GARDENS!!!!!

First visit and really loved it! Came away with a nice range of garden plants for the jungle and my wife picked up some house plants. Staff were really nice and helpful. Interior cafe was nicely done ( although we didn't use it ), however it looked good. They like to decorate using plants and make the cafe feel full jungle effect which I thought was really nice. My only draw back really was that I couldn't stay inside the indoor building long because of the burning incense ( which affects my lungs). Other than this would definitely do the hour drive again for some rarer treats for the garden

A friendly and lovely place for a coffee and cake, Nessa made the visit even better although busy made time to talk to me and showed interest in what I was saying. It is now my go to coffee destination.

I love coming here and having coffee and enjoying sitting amongst the plants. The staff are all so lovely and it's my favourite place to be. Just wish I could afford more of their plants. Being a teaching assistant doesn't stretch that far🤣

I have just been to the Urban Jungle plant centre in Beccles. One of my favourite places to look for plants but also a lovely place to have a delicious mug of coffee and slice of cake. Sitting on their veranda you could be in an exotic oasis, especially when the sun is shining. The people are all very knowledgable and helpful but I’d like to give a special shout out to Tanya who gave me loads of very helpful advice about the plants I was buying and helped load up my car! She has a lovely friendly manner and is very knowledgable. All round a great experience whenever I visit!

Best afternoon tea I’ve ever had and incredible plant shop! Always come away feeling happy and inspired ☺

First time we’ve been to the Beccles branch and Ollie was wonderful! He was so knowledgeable and helpful and we came away with the most beautiful plants and advice on how best to take care of them! The coffee shop is a lovely little spot and our puppy was welcome too.

Bought a Pittosporum Tobira today with a large ceramic pot. Great help and advice from Tanya. She was very helpful and knowledgeable, friendly and made us feel very welcome and valued. Thanks Tanya!

Brilliant service! Popped in on a Sunday morning to grab some plants for a terrarium that I was giving as a gift and Jake was super helpful and put the whole thing together for me! Jake was an absolute pleasure - thank you! Very pleasantly surprised with the service and loved the result!

The Urban Jungle offers exotic and unusual plants that are hard to find elsewhere.

What is great is that examples of the plants are planted out in display beds for inspiration.

You can bring dogs here.

There is a cafe on site offering teas, coffees, hot chocolate, delicious cakes and I suspect more at other times, but at the time of our visit there were changes being made as the venue evolves under Covid.

Also sold are houseplants, pots and there are more things coming.

It is an experience to come here and well worth it if you love plants.

Loved looking around, nice to see plants in their garden as well as the plants for sale. We were served by Jake who was very knowledgeable, patient and helpful.

It was very nice to look at the plants and nature and the cafe was nice and quiet although a bit expensive but it makes sense for a relatively small place.

Well what a treat, I visited the Urban jungle in Beccles on 23 August 2023, it was easy to find and on arrival ample parking spaces, I wasn't looking for anything in particular however the quality of the plants an pots intrigued me, on this occasion I purchased two cannas and pots for them to be planted on as well as a bag of compost.
The prices were extremely reasonable and the plants all looked healthy and looked after, there was a well stocked shop offering coffee and cake as well as other goods novelties and indoor plants.
I had a chap named Ollie who quite frankly couldn't of been more helpful in loading my car with the recently purchased goods and he had a very comprehensive knowledge of products and plants, a breath of fresh air so thank you Ollie.
On the downside if there was one was trying to find someone to assist although once the bell was rang for help an abundance of help arrived so not really a problem.
I found this urban Jungle an absolute pleasure to visit and pretty much can't wait to visit again.
