I absolutely adore this park because it’s one of the boggiest and most amusing parks in Birmingham! You have lakes , you have cafes, you have posh restaurants with lake view ! STUNNING, what else you want from a day out in nature ?! This is like all in one ♥

Wonderful park and such an education every time.
Love the markers on the ground telling you the history of the park as you walk round.
Met the wild ponies for first time and enjoyed watching them wallow in the shallow pools and roll around in the mud.
Totally recommend this for cycling, walking (Inc dogs), ice creams and just the peace n quiet.
Large park but can use online maps or visit the park office where there are displays and educational information.
Parking is plentiful.

Stunning park in Sutton Coldfield with so many different walks and views.
This park is easily accessible with many different gates. Each gate has free parking available with access to all areas of the park.
It’s great for dog walking too, and there’s even a donkey sanctuary.
There are a number of cafes and restaurants around the park offering coffee and food.
You can take a picnic and enjoy all areas of the park but open fires are not allowed.

Fantastic nature reserve with lots of walking trails and routes get lost on. Lots of history and lots of wildlife. Lakes, open pasture, woodland. Many gates to enter, with car parks....some with toilets, cafes, pub etc, some gates are straight into nature with no amenities or facilities. Love a long dog walk here on a regular basis

It's a lovely and big park to practice some good outdoor activities from walking, cycling with your family around the park, canoeing, paddle boarding, archery, golf, running, reading to exploring the area and make few good photographs around the park.

You got some nice parking spot, from little to big restaurant where you can have some good food.

I wish I can see more bins around this park, as I see few nasty people throwing garbage where they can!

Lovely area to walk around but so big we couldn't find our way back to our car! Beautiful scenery though & we came across a lovely little cafe had tea & cake - scrumptious! Fun (if exhausting) day out, (as we walked further than planned-ooops!) , but have to say an enjoyable & rewarding outing - well worth a visit.... or three. Definitely going again.

This is easily the best Toby carvery I've been too. I'm not saying the others I've been too are bad, they are all good, but at this one the food was just cooked that little bit better.
Lovely old building, and in the middle of a cold winter it was lovely and snug with great food. I can't believe that M&B are going to refurbish the building after which it won't be a Toby carvery anymore. Get yourself over there for a great carvery before it's gone.

Sutton Park is a big, peaceful place where you can relax and explore.

It has lots of gates and places to park your car, so it's easy to get in. Inside, there are many paths to walk on, like a maze in a forest, even though you're still in the city.

There's also a pretty lake, and there are always lots of people around, making it a lively place to be. If you want to enjoy nature without leaving the city, Sutton Park is the place to go.

Its an ideal place to visit whatever your abilities in terms of walking or using a mobility aid. There are plenty of benches to sit on and reflect if you wish to read, picnic or have simply run out of steam. No vehicles hurtling through, parking dotted throughout for cars means its reasonably safe to walk almost anywhere. And the people who use it tend to have a sense of pride and ownership so that its cared for. As a public park facility it takes some beating.

Birmingham has more trees than any other European city and Sutton Park is a huge contributor to this. The park apparently once a hunting ground for King Henry the 8th also has a stretch of Roman road. Cows are permitted to graze in the summer, model aircraft enthusiasts operate all year round. There are lakes, two restaurants and bike hire. Free parking and miles of walks makes Sutton Park a must visit destination.

Favourite park in Birmingham. Different terrains and places to eat throughout. It even has ponies!

Very big and wild park. Good cycle tracks too but not official tracks. Many wild horses roaming and even beef cattle roaming.
