Bacaro Weymouth

Our family enjoyed a fabulous dinner here on Thursday night. The place is so lovely and the food was served with so much pride and tasted delicious. The lady who looked after us was so friendly, kind and helpful. She was the only person serving the tables and she was rushed off her feet but she kept smiling and made us feel welcome throughout our meal.

We had steaks, risotto with a steak topping and the chicken tagliatelle - shout out to the chef - they were all wonderful.

A few months ago we had a Sunday lunch there too - this was equally amazing! I’d go back for one of those again anytime!!

Very cozy! I will definitely come back here with my family. All my children were calm and ate delicious dishes, even the baby was calm, there was some kind of magical atmosphere, and this is rare for our family.
I would like to thank the chef for the pleasant piquancy, it made my dish very special!

Busy restaurant, we were lucky and didn't wait too long for a table, probably best to book. Food was hot, fresh and tasty, for 4 people we paid £88 for 2 sides and 4 main. The Staff were exceptionally busy but dealt with the dinner time rush amazingly and always with a smile. Would definitely visit again.

Wow wow wow. What a great Italian dining experience in Weymouth. It was a beautiful laid-out restaurant with an open cooking kitchen. The starters were exceptional the fried Gnocchi with garlic was bursting with flavour, and before it was served my senses could smell this lovely garlicky aroma, this was a starter that would knock the socks off a lot of places I have eaten, the paste with cress was just perfect combination. The main course was just like exploding with flavours, the chef knew his hand and his flavours as Tagliatelle di Zucca, Butternut and shallots roasted then pureed and fried to create an interesting, flavoursome new pasta dish and Damm it was good the paste was perfectly balanced and just went so well with pasta.
Baked Pistachio Crusted Cod
Served with pistachio cream sauce, crushed new potatoes and creamed leeks, Oh my god this was the one the cod cooked to perfection all the accompanying parts on the plate made all the difference, again the chef surpassed the elements of cooking and smashed or out of the park. The kids' menu was really wea ll thought out, garlic bread was soft and tasty. Mini Pizza Margherita, lovely tomato base with good amount of cheese on the pizza. The only thing that was a disappointmernt was the desert, Raspberry and Pistachio Cheesecake served with pistachio crumb and raspberry compote, no tatse on the cheese cake no flavoiur in the cheese tatse more like actual soft cream cheese with pistachios. We came to this one by mistake but was very pleasantly surprised food was lovely and we even managed to get a table when they were fully booked. Will be visiting again when we come back 😄

Excellent food. One of the best pizzas I have had. Not much available parking close by, so best to park in one of the bigger car parks and walk a few minutes.

OMG! I don't have enough stars to rate this restaurant, it's an Italian restaurant and the food it's just the best and the staff very helpful. Between four of us we spent £71, drinks included. I hope I can have the chance to eat again in this place.

Absolutely brilliant night had here last night. The staff couldn’t have been more attentive, friendly and were great with the kids. Food & cocktails were fabulous and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend coming here when visiting Weymouth! We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area!

When we arrived. We were warned there may be a wait for the food because of parties going on. We stayed.
Can't fault the quality of service from all the staff, even the barman helping out carrying food. Well done great team work.
We had Goats cheese for starters excellent choice on our part, not strong in flavour but very enjoyable.
We then ordered 2 x Italian style burgers with chips.
The burgers we're full of flavour even with Mozarela and not the Blue cheese as stated..

Absolutely stunning. Food was absolutely amazing 10/10. Some very talented chefs in that kitchen. 100% would recommend to locals and anyone visiting weymouth. Will defo be back next time we are in Weymouth. Would be a shame to miss defo a place worth experiencing

Okay where do I start, got there on time.
Chef told us prior they had a new menu for the valentines season which was great!
We were seated on a nice and clean table and the staff were working as a team we never needed for anything. Got asked for drinks while we wait, of course. The food, OMG is all I have to say. The food and drinks menu was great and the food very tasty! Amazing experience with my significant other. Will be coming again soon. Rates were priced fairly as well. The atmosphere was honestly great. Compliments to the chef and his team so It’s a 5star for me

Great location and nice food. Service was excellent. Didn’t even realise that they had an offer on meaning we received a 40% discount!

Finally got around to trying Bacaro - Pizza Pasta Risotto with the missus. We turned up 15mins early but they still managed to sit us straight away.

The service was polite and friendly throughout and the food was fantastic. Pricing was pretty decent too.

Will definitely be back. 👌

Oh my goodness! Best place I’ve ever eaten. I don’t think I’ve ever raved on about a place so much! And I’m definitely going back. The staff were lovely and attentive it was nice to see the chefs at work! And don’t even get me started on the cocktails!

The food was amazing! First time here however we will be back. The staff were lovely and the food was quick. Lovely heated terrace which will keep you and the food warm👏🏽

Fantastic new Italian restaurant. A really beautiful space very comfortable and stylish.

We visited on their launch day and had coffee but hope to have lunch this week. The food we saw coming out looked lovely the staff were very professional and attentive throughout and all Covid Safe procedures were in place.

We looked at the menu and their is an all around choice for all members of the family and varied tastes. Would recommend anyone to visit.

(19.09.23) I took my mother for a treat. Superb food choices on the menu. We chose the Pistachio Encrusted Cod and the Pork Belly. Both cooked to perfection. We also had a dessert of tiramisu, which finished off a great meal. Great service from the young staff which made it a great meal and a great night out. Thank you.

What a beautiful restaurant. The warm and yet spacious feel creates a lovely welcoming atmosphere in conjunction with its phenomenal and presentable staff. The seating is comfortable and yet supporting and the table is smooth and at an optimal distance from the seat. There was also a lovely view of Weymouth beach and the ocean.

The food. Omg. The food. The carbonara was incredible, such a beautifully creamy sauce accompanied by the chicken (which is the only negetive of this meal, it was slightly dry). The pancetta adds such a fantastic depth of texture, its slightly sweet taste mixed with the savoury spaghetti created a beautiful culmination of cullonary brilliance!

This absolute delicacy of a meal was like an escape from reality. There are many times while writing my food reviews where I struggle to find words which can fully articulate my experience. I can say without a doubt, the moment the spaghetti touched my tongue the review had already written itself in my mind.

The carbonara being a filling carbohydrate suited the portion size of the dish leaving me satisfied and not bloated.

I also believe the £15.95 price tag was very reasonable for the high quality cuisine I received.
