What a wonderful surprise to find a bookshop in the middle of an estate! EXCELLENT selection of books, lots of feminism, fantasy and YA - what more can you want? Very friendly staff with good recommendations; only meant to come in for a coffee but couldn't resist the books! Danger to bibliophiles!

Just lovely!.

Popped in as we kept saying we would such a lively surprise lots of books. Also, many signed copies of books.
Didn't stop for coffee, but most definitely will next time!.

The lady is so informative and really knows what she's talking about.

Will come and get our books here now.

Well worth a trip.

*Edit. We came back and stopped for tea and cake! Perfect 👌!

This is a fantastic bookshop to visit, we drove down from Bristol and we were met with a lovely welcome. There is a great selection of books, signed and special editions. After looking around and choosing a couple of books to purchase we sat down for a cup of tea (which was a really good cup of tea), and had a slice of cake and a toasted tea cake for our toddler.
10/10 for the service, finally somewhere that knows the meaning of great customer service and has a real passion for books and the publishing industry.

I’ve had three blind date books from Snug Bookshop, and the care and attention is next to none. Felt like a present to myself and a pick me up when needed! Fabulous service and the owner is absolutely lovely. Hope to visit in person one day!

Thank you!! Had pre-ordered a book with their online shop, all standard. But the delivery was next to none. Really thoughtful. These folks wrapped my book like a present and even included a hand written note. It's the little touches. Thank you team! x

This book shop is such a gorgeous independent local place to go for a lovely hot drink, great chats with the owner and even better book recommendations. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

I saw a tweet by this bookshop which led me to browse their online store and order a couple of books. They arrived today, wrapped in paper which said “Prepare to be enchanted” which I thought was sweet! I am making a conscious effort to use small independent book stores now, rather than big retailers. If we all do the same imagine the difference we can make!

Great cakes, great books sold by someone who really knows her stuff. Odd location but worth the effort of finding. A local gem.

I visit this shop frequently and it’s always such a pleasant and relaxing experience.
The bookshop owner is always polite and willing to engage in conversation, she’s very knowledgable about all styles of books.

I visited today, came away with some lovely books and even a goody bag of sweets and a book token.

The shop has a wide range of books, but anything not available can be ordered in very quickly

I ordered online - a book right up my street that I wouldn't have seen without Snug's social media - and the book was promptly delivered with some lovely extras like bookmarks included. Great stock, good prices, excellent service.

Lovely shop with friendly staff and a great selection of books! Next day ordering service too. There's also a rumour going around that indie bookshops pay tax!
