Just had the fitters from crocodile to fit our garden room and we are beyond happy.
The guys Craig, Lee and Hindle were professional, respectful and genuinely amazing fitters.
The product is exactly as we wanted and the quality is fabulous.

We had a new garage door fitted by Crocodile in June and are very pleased with the product. The whole process was easy from start to finish. All the staff from initial contact to the fitting team were helpful and professional. Not the cheapest but worth the money to receive a great product and great service. Based on our experience I would not hesitate to recommend Crocodile Products.

Simon and Matt turned up on time and we’re very efficient and professional. Good quality doors, would recommend!

had a new veranda fitted a few years ago now, been a great addition to the house, no problems ,all very good would highly recommend .

Worked on a site near Bournemouth this week where the chaps from Crocodile were installing a large glass veranda all around the side of the house. Lovely guys, good tradesmen and very professional.

When you call them, they're right there they contact you all the time say when, what they will do. However, once they have fitted, aftersale is very bad. They are very expensive and dosent meet what you want

Installation was supposed to take 3 days. It took 8 weeks in the end.
Crocodile do not prioritize returning to fix issues/snags so you go to the back of the queue. In the end they had to return 3 times, to fix all the snags.

Communication during the process was very poor, however, they are very on the ball when asking you for money.

The installers lacked attention to detail when installing the structure, damaged two tiles drilling holes, incorrectly fitted seals, scratched parts during fitting, poor and excessive use of silicone sealant. Sealant marks on the floor. But the biggest was that the structure is not square, the posts were not fitted the correct positions.

All the glass is single glazed and doors sealed with draught exclusion brushes only, so the doors are very draughty. It will be virtually impossible to keep warm during any cold periods.

Condensation is an issue that will need to be managed, especially with the glass roof. We have had to buy and run a dehumidifier in order to reduce the condensation.

The structure has not been built square which has meant we have had to significantly compromise how we wanted the completed structure to look, requiring trim to be fitted to hide the fact the structure doesn’t fit on the base as it is that far off being square.

Poor installation and the end result is not commensurate with the cost of the structure.

Crocodile have offered a miserly amount in compensation for the damage, delay and the fact the structure is not square. Currently considering legal options to get a reasonable level of compensation.

Again communication is very poor. Poor customer service.

The sliding door track design is crude. It will require maintenance, we have to clean the tracks weekly to stop rust developing on the stainless steel runners. The doors need to be lubricated and used weekly, We have already had one door make horrible noise when opening it.

The door tracks where just screwed down on top of the tiled surface, sealant is used to seal the track. Nothing is put underneath the door track so water ingress is likely to be a problem in the future if the sealant fails.

Wish we had gone for bi-fold doors.

Would not recommend Crocodile to anyone.

Beware as this company will sell you anything without complete transparency to whether you can actually have it. They don't tell you the truth about Planning Permission and when it all goes wrong they just walk away from a terrible fitted job which they use subcontractors who drive half way across the country get paid a pittance and the job is continually be repaired.
Poor standard of construction fitting and finishing.
Would stay clear.

I would most certainly avoid this company. Wanted a quick quote and couldn’t get the salesman out of my house for an hour, awful experience all round, kept lowering the price even though I said not interested. Then got a call following day knocking a further 600 pound Off. Initial quote was 4100 and went as low as 1800 towards the end, just doesn’t add up. Old double glazing companies come to mind with these.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this firm for garage door installations. I booked a garage door quote appointment with these guys. Salesman arrived at appointment promptly the next day. Product seemed good and at par with some other 77mm slat doors.
Salesman seemed pushy and used all the questionable tactics of a 90s PVC salesman. He offered a 15% discount if I signed up a sales contract for a £4300 garage door that seemed massively overpriced. Then said that the discount will not be available if he leaves the house. Also tried to tell me that the renowned 'French Somfy' motors were German engineered. Knowledge of own products was minimal. Also said that 'secured by design' products approved by the police were a gimmick.
When I declined he said that the sales contract was only valid once I had paid the deposit of £1100 and I could change my mind after signing it as long as the deposit wasn't paid.
The whole experience felt pushy.
I've now decided to go with a different manufacturer who is 'secure by design' accredited and almost half the price with much better specs.
