Newbottle Woods

Lovely place for a walk or ride. There are bike ramps in the forest. The newbottle estate is excellent too and very well kept

I've been coming to these woods since I was a kid and have been bringing my children since they were small. It's a great place to wander for an hour or two.

Beautiful place for walking the dog. Especially during the autumn. The path can be slippy in places but not deep and boggy. There are a few little layby areas to park. Unfortunately there is quite a bit of litter being left so if you feel like being a good human being, take a bin liner and collect some rubbish before you go.

Great place to come for a peaceful walk or small jog. Wildlife, trees, even a few undulating hills for XC or BMX. Plenty of parking on the lay-bys by the woods. Not suitable for prams, buts if you have a baby carried, I would recommend.

Lovely setting for a little pootle. A small scenic wood with lots of nooks and crannies for kids to enjoy

Great area for the kids to run around. Rope swing and jumps. Fab day out.

Lovely little woods for a hour or twos walk. Nice and clean from dog poo, lots of features for running around with kids and burning off some energy!

Wish people would pick up there dog poo! Geo caches to find here too and bike ramps and little swings.
