We had the dog with us so ate in one of their little “sheds” it was such fun! The food was great and the service was fab too. Actually the whole place is amazing with some stunning pieces for the garden. Really high-end. Well worth a visit (and worth going back to again afterwards!)

As soon as I entered the Yurt, I was made feel very welcomed by members of the staff.I had a latte which was very nice and the barista put much effort to make the drink and I had a croissant which was very delicious. Atmosphere very nice , food tasty and impeccable service. Will come back

Went for brunch and had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon on sour dough, and it was perfect, presentation and taste. Service was friendly, and the atmosphere of the yurt was warm and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Went for brunch and it was delicious! Lots of veggie and gluten free options which is great. Staff were super friendly and helpful and the yurt itself is awesome. Highly recommend!

One of the best meals I've had in a long time. Super fresh ingredients, well mixed flavours, and warm, friendly, and attentive staff. This place is wonderful.

Came here on a recommendation. Used OpenTable to book. Tricky to find a good slot. Not disappointed and Chloe was amazing. Excellent wine pairing. We originally sat inside but moved outside as a lovely, sunny day. Started with shared dips. So tasty. Then mushroom soup (tried to get the ingredients but failed) and cheese soufflé. Delicious. Then scallops and lamb. Not together. Had fries on side. They do have ketchup but no mayonnaise nor vinegar nor mint sauce (I just love mint sauce and lamb). Desert was sticky toffee pud. Amazing . Some weird revues but we enjoyed it. Service was sporadic as we were outside. Suggest you add a service charge as well and please take Amex!!

Lovely brunch in beautiful location. Good food, but not the best coffee (I had a Latte, it was a little too bitter - not great if you like unsweetened speciality coffee).

Thoroughly enjoyed a three course meal with a large group. We ordered a variety of dishes, all of which were good.

I had the salmon plate starter, roasted courgette with tempura main and for desert, a chocolate delice with raspberry sorbet (divine!).

The service from Inga and the other waitresses was very attentive, with dishes timed very well between each course. Some of us had dietary restrictions and the chefs advice was helpful in choosing certain dishes.

For a 3 course meal including two rounds of drinks, ~£40 per head was very reasonable.

Additional information -
Plenty of parking space on-site and very clean, almost spotless toilets.

Advice to owners - you need to open during the evening! The yurt has a cosy ambience, which, paired with a cold winter night I feel would complete the experience.

What a beautiful breakfast spot! We were in the area visiting a friend and discovered the yurt on our search for some breakfast.

Beautiful, comfortable and warm inside with a great menu calling on local producers. Food was well priced and delicious. Presentation was amazing as well.

Also had a delicious coffee.

Shame we won't be able to visit there again for a while! Highly recommend!!

Really good food at a reasonable price. The venue is quirky being a yurt (tent thingy) that's part of a garden centre. It's a venue worth a visit.

Such a fab place for brunch and something ‘different’ too. A warm welcome (from waitress & fire!), lovely menu, great food, very nice setting. Can’t fault the experience and will be returning.

Fantastic Harvest Supper last Friday. The food was amazing, really tasty and just the right size portions. The staff worked hard all evening and were attentive and helpful. There was a lovely atmosphere in the yurt too. Thank you for a lovely evening, Alison.

We had a really nice dining experience. I had to cheese soufle which was nice because we don't see a lot of Souflees on menus. And the soup was nice , flavourful and filling. Great service and not too expensive. Thank you

I don’t normally write reviews, but just wanted to drop a line letting everyone know that the yurt put on a spectacular evening last night for its harvest supper. Exquisite food, great service, and such a unique, warm and friendly atmosphere. Big thank you 🙏 to the whole team, we look forward to seeing you at the next event.

A colleague and I visited the Yurt for lunch on Wednesday, and it did not disappoint. Both of us ordered the lamb with a side of fries. The food, the flavour, the presentation was all 5 star. That paired with a fantastic service really does make dining at The Yurt a special experience. I can’t wait to revisit in a couple of weeks.

Delicious food and a gorgeous atmosphere. The dessert I had was divine. Mains were flavoursome and came with perfectly garnishing. Drinks are also reasonably priced.

Food here is excellent....and a little bit different too. Served by very helpful and attentive staff who had the patience of a Saint while we dithered over our food choices. Highly recommend for a leisurely lunch but closes at 2.30.

The Yurt is a hidden gem and an absolute delight!

Delicious food, prompt and polite service, and a lovely atmosphere especially in the winter when the log burner is lit.

Their sustainability credentials are also very impressive, with locally sourced ingredients and wine, including some produce grown on their own site.

Fabulous evening for Harvest Festival - delicious food, served by charming staff who looked after us beautifully. The Yurt was decorated in autumnal colours and looked lovely. A happy gathering. Well done to everyone and thank you.
