Visited the spa - morning with lunch. Can not fault the whole experience, the facilities are 5 star, staff were friendly and attentive. Everything was clean. The massage given by Chloe was brilliant as was the facial. The lunch was delicious. Will definitely be back!!

However, what truly set our experience apart was the exceptional service and support provided by our wedding coordinator. Throughout the entire planning process, she was a true gem. She listened attentively to our vision for the day and worked tirelessly to bring it to life. Her attention to detail was impeccable, and she went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our wedding was perfect.

Even when we encountered a few unexpected challenges along the way, she was there to offer guidance and support. Her calm demeanor and reassuring presence helped us navigate through any obstacles with ease, allowing us to fully enjoy the journey leading up to our wedding day.

On the day of the wedding, both our wedding coordinator and the deputy general manager were absolute superstar’s. They flawlessly executed our vision, ensuring that everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Their professionalism and expertise were evident in every aspect of the day, and we felt completely at ease knowing that they were in charge of running the day.

Thanks to our dream wedding coordinator and the entire team at Stanley House, our wedding day was everything we had dreamed of and more. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and memories we will treasure for the rest of our lives.

Took my friend here for a treat. Really enjoyed my treatment with felicity . Food was lovely and liked the pool area, steam and sauna . Think there could do to be more loungers for guests as it can get a bit busy

I stayed here with my mom on a lovely Aug week to attend a friend’s wedding in the marquee owned by this establishment.

The service is quick and the folks are absolutely lovely! We were tended to immediately when we arrived and taken to our rooms.

The room have all the toiletries and a tea/coffee station. A TV for your viewing and of course a nice big window for a grand view. Enough places for storage too and the bathroom has a rain shower as well as a bath ✅

The restaurant serves all halal and we didn’t need to book anything. The servers there are also informative and just super friendly.

The marquee itself was gorgeous and the food there was splendid.

We needed to go see Blackburn and they were able to order a taxi for us. That’s the only drawback - the hotel has nothing around it so you’d need to travel to the town to see or do anything.

Absolutely great experience regardless! Recommend!

Had an amazing spa experience for my husband's 50th.
Looked after by Olivia and Chloe and they were absolutely fantastic. We both feel thoroughly relaxed!

Amazing twilight Spa evening with my friend .welcomed by lovely staff procecco and nibbles on arrival in the lounge. Then Shown around the spa facilities and then left to enjoy the spa . Changing rooms are lush 😍 we came out like princesses 👸. We then nipped accross the courtyard to have a 3 course meal in the bistro. Again staff helpful food Amazing. Well worth a visit would go agsin ..

This was an incredible 1st time ( and not lasting time) experience dining with friend, who I have not seen for sometime. Everything was just perfect I couldn’t have asked for anymore, from the welcoming experience with Gareth meet and greet , and Polly and her amazing recommendations. , “Fish pie what can I say touched my taste buds to another level” , then the Crème’ brûlée most favourite dessert of all - Food timings you had spot on, I did not want to leave - next visit a stay over and get to use that lovely Spa. Wow, Wow , wow all the way

Attended the new Mr and Mrs Bond wedding exceptional day from minute if arrival throughout the service. Victoria the manager wS exceptional., warm welcoming from guest to bride & groom. Service , location was just astonishing from strat to finish. This won't be last visit it will be one of many. Certainly a place I will be planning g to book for those special occasions. Thank you Victoria and your amazing attentive team , for the lasting memories ❤

My Daughters Wedding...
After a very slight bumpy start during the booking and leading up to the event, due to a change over of management and wedding team, I cannot praise Victoria the GM, Sharon and Megan enough. My daughter truly had the greatest day.
The whole event was dressed and decorated by Cube and looked fantastic. The wedding breakfast food, drinks and service was great. Then a super quick turnaround for a fabulous evening wedding party. The suites and rooms in the Manor House and Woodlands were lovely. Victoria, Sharon & Megan at Stanley House really did go the extra mile to make it the best ever day for my Daughter. Thank you

Lovely place. Food and drink was especially nice. Didn't try the spa but had a go in the gym which was good.

Delightful place to stay. Accommodation was really good and excellent value. Food was really good and was a reasonable price. Can't wait to go back

I attended a wedding here. The surroundings are beautiful. Plenty of parking. Nice clean venue for wedding. Only negative I have is it was abit cold inside the wedding hall.

Photographed a wedding here with a colleague and found it to be a fantastic venue, the staff were helpful, the setting is gorgeous with plenty of places to use for photography. The rooms were really nice that we had use of and there’s a lovey spa and pool facility. It’s a large venue that can cater for two separate events simultaneously whilst keeping both parties separated.

What a beautiful place, booked a Thursday special for me and my Daughter, which included Thermal spa for 2 hours, evening meal, over night stay in the Manor House and breakfast for £225. The staff were all so lovely and couldn't do enough to help. The setting and views are so nice and the spa was great with robes and flip flops supplied, we had a coffee in the lounge after the spa which over looked the terrace, it was just so peaceful, we felt so relaxed and looked after the whole way. The evening meal was delicious, The Baratta starter was 1 of the best things I'd eaten in ages, followed by the fish pie. My Daughter had roast parsnip soup with mini baguettes followed by Gnocchi, which was also very yummy. The room was spacious with character and the bed was so comfy with black out curtains, good job I set an alarm I was out for the count. We got breakfast in bed which was all so tasty and good quality. We can't wait to come back for another treat soon.

Staff were brilliant and the service was exceptional. We were late by 30min and the staff gave us extra time. Really thoughtful

Exceptionally high standards, a wonderful place. Superb staff. Highly professional but not stuffy. Care and attention to detail in all areas - but the spa is just standout. Best I’ve been to by a long way. Can’t wait to go back.
