I have had the pleasure of working with Christian, our heating engineer, for 14 years now, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Our kitchen tap had started to leak so I contacted Christian after finding him on Google. He was very helpful over email and now our new tap is installed and working perfectly! Very happy with his fees and a lovely chap!

Christian from Fire and Water replaced our boiler last week. We were delighted with the service. Christian arrived on time as arranged with us on each of the days that he worked. He worked in an appropriately covid-safe manner. He left our kitchen tidy and such that we could still cook the meals we needed to. The new boiler is a huge improvement on our old one and we were really pleased with the advice he gave when we were choosing the new model. We would definitely contact Christian again as our first choice for a plumber. We generally contact by email and hear back in a good timeframe.

Christian was recommended to me to refit my bathroom by several friends and I'm so glad I was. Christian's work is absolutely faultless and he was very considerate and supportive throughout the whole process. I presented Christian with the challenge of very old steel barreled pipes in an Edwardian house. The bathroom needed a complete renovation and I couldn't be happier with the result. Christian is a lovely person with a good sense of humour as well as being an excellent plumber and bathroom fitter. It was a pleasure to have him working in my house. Christian is totally brilliant to work with and we’d thoroughly recommend him to everyone. His workmanship is faultless and his communication is clear and considerate. Just today he helped us at short notice to redirect our water mains, install two new radiators and fit new valves on a current radiator after another plumber cancelled and messed us around. He even stayed late to help us install a dishwasher and moving our washing machine amidst our hectic building works. We’ve used Christian for our heating and plumbing work for years and have always been very happy with him. He recently refitted our bathroom for us, which was a strip back to a shell and start again. From the outset we’ve been very impressed and are absolutely delighted with the finished work- so much so that we asked him to do the downstairs toilet too!

Right at the start, Christian gave us a detailed quotation and worked with us to make sure that the bathroom suite was absolutely right and that we had everything required, he lined up the necessary tradesmen, skip, deliveries etc and ran through with us to make sure everything was just right and we knew just what to expect.

Christian’s workmanship is excellent, and his attention to detail is very impressive. The bathroom looks amazing and the installation and tiling are flawless, with attention to little details that we wouldn’t have even thought of. The end result really shows the care that he has put into his work- as he says, he treats every project with the same care and focus that he would if he was working in his own house.

It's not just the quality of his work that stands Christian out. Stripping out and refitting a bathroom is a big job, but Christian took care to minimise any mess and was very considerate of us when he was working, always leaving things neat and tidy. Christian is clearly very experienced, he’s a good man, and a pleasure to be around. I would absolutely recommend Christian to anyone, whether for plumbing and heating or larger projects like our bathroom. I had a major water leak in my kitchen which resulted in a flooded cellar beneath. I couldn't ascertain the origin of the leak so I contacted Christian and told him of the urgency of the situation. Once again he responded so quickly and attended to find out the cause of the problem. He found a damaged hose under the sink, went to Frome and got a replacement. He further tested the water flow and discovered a second hose was split. He went to Frome again, got a replacement and fitted it. He went to the trouble of checking, double checking that all was well. He gave me excellent advice with regard to getting a dehumidifier to dry out the walls and flooring.

His 'can do' attitude and scrupulous attention to detail over many hours spent to ensure the source of the leak was located has left me totally reassured and delighted with his service. I highly recommend Christian having just had my boiler replaced and a total new bathroom installation. All of his work is done to the highest of standards. His tiling is absolutely immaculate! He went above and beyond to ensure that we had the minimum disruption and mess during the process. I cannot fault the end result, it’s absolutely amazing!

We booked Christian to refit our boiler and entire system as part of a big refurb project of our 6-bed house. Christian quoted competitively, arrived on time, worked hard and efficiently, and finished the job to a very high standard and on budget. Not only that, but he has been a pleasure to have in the house, always respecting our privacy whilst being friendly in his demeanour and very supportive of our vision for the house. When our 40 Yr old boiler failed I imagined total upheavel in our house fitting a new one. Christian made the whole process an easy one. He visited the property to price the job, and talked through the options available to us with regard boiler type and suitable positions within the house (we wanted to move its position from the kitchen)
