Great practice. Rang at 8 am, number one in queue spoke to a lovely lady who booked me in to see gp.
Amazing!
Also have an online email service for non urgent queries which is great.

I am so thankful for the services offered by this surgery. The electronic consultation is an inspired initiative - no more long waits on the telephone, trying to get an appointment. Staff are very prompt in responding to a submission and are always polite and helpful. I was particularly impressed by Dr Vayalaman who was very patient and thorough in her approach to my medical issue. Thank you all for your hard work.

As with the rest of the NHS, capacity is quite stretched, and you'll be waiting a while for an appointment. But they have now implemented an online booking system which is much better than the old, broken 8am phone system.
The staff and doctors are lovely, and the GP is rather impressively grand.

Tried the new online appointment booking system today, very easy to use allowing your ailment to be triaged and an appropriate date for the appointment to be offered. Always had outstanding service from the practice this system adds to that.

They have been great from day one of joining. Which was a year ago in lockdown. My husband is diabetic and they have been great with his appointments and tests and medication. They have sorted all his follow up appointments with the doctor and nurse. Fantatic help all around.

Compared to Kegworth Surgery with regards to bookings etc, this practice is amazing. Great service all round.

Been with this practice for years. Never had any problems. Always managed to get an appointment and using the old Rosebery School building is perfect for anyone with any accessibility problems.

Never had a problem with the practise till this last month or two, why do i have to wait for nearly a month to get a appointment to see a doctor but if i phone for a emergency appointment i will get one that day. Surely with all the partners in the practise they could manage it better and keep some times for routine appointments.

I am a very anxious and I don't get out much I have to be persuaded by a friend to attend which on this occasion my taxi was late, only a few minutes but I got to the surgery 9 minutes late and got told my appointment was now cancelled! I thought they had a 10 leeway? I needed my meds got a lump needed seeing to which still not? The receptionist Sharon was really rude to say the least! But the doctor did ring me and apologise to me but now I don't want to go bk due to all this messing about it ain't the first time shes messed me about shame on you !!

Hard for me to make an appointment when I call in they either don't answer or say it's fully booked and need to call other day. Doctors are good but wish they were better some of them don't really care much

This must sound funny, rang them for a blood test and was told over the phone that they are short on fundings for hospital blood test !!!

Very poor service overall. Avoid if you can
A phone system that says your 8th in the queue for an appointment and then after a 25min wait in their abominable phone system one is told that your the 30th caller (how can that be?!) and there are no Dr appointments left, even though there are 10 registered Drs!
It takes 4 weeks for a Dr appointment to feedback on an important hospital report after a heart trace.
Sadly, the practice appears to be in organisational melt down and they put up every possible avoidance tactic to doing what they are paid to do, which is provide an adequate primary care service to their patients.

If I could if zero star I would. I have only been with this Medical Centre 3 months as I relocated to the area. I have complex mental health and complex physical disabilities 3 months later and seeing 3 different doctors I am still no further I have no prescription medication left no medication for my mental health etc and they just don’t care they have no duty of care towards me or safeguarding told them I am feeling very low etc and they still don’t care so I have decided this GP practice is going to be reported for leaving me at my most vulnerable time. Some receptionist we very nice and caring but the 3. Different I spoke to on the phone just didn’t care. I am going to complain to the practice manager and the practice Senior Partner Dr Hanlon about this as it’s not acceptable I have diagnoses for complex disorders and they want me to be reassessed again my dog gets treated with more care and respect at the vets

I hear people complain about their GPs because they have to wait weeks for appointments. This is not the case here.
They just don't give appointments, numerous times I have got through at 8 o'clock on the dot to be told that all appointments are gone. This is at 8.01, not after being on hold so there is NO GP available.

You can only book appointments for the day and you have to call early or you don't get an appointment. I am in meetings with my job at that time so it's impossible to call when they tell you. Finally got an appointment after weeks of trying. It's not an actual timed appointment, you just have to sit and keep tabs on your phone all day so you don't miss it. Missed the first call and called surgery straight away to say I thought I'd missed a call, told I hadn't as nothing on my file. Told not to worry as I'll get a second call even if it was. Had an incredibly unproductive work day as constantly checking phone. Stopped work at 5 to make sure I didnt miss the call. Sat with phone in hand ready to answer but no call came. Called surgery againat 5.56pm as was told Doctors call up to 6pm and wanted to make sure they'd roll my appointment over since I hadn't been called. Was told the call I had been told earlier in the day wasn't from the doctor in actual fact was the doctor and that they'd tried again after 5pm and my phone was unavailable. Knowing I'd been sat, phone in hand, waiting for the call, I told the receptionist this was categorically untrue. She repeatedly told me my phone was unavailable and I said it wasn't and that I needed to have my appointment rolled over. I asked them to send doctor a message to advise my phone was available and to ask them to call me again and was told all the appointments were now gone. Since none of us have timed appointments, this also is untrue as doctor just moves onto the next person, there is no lost time. Receptionist lied again, claiming it was impossible to send the doctor a message, apparently coudnt email or send an instant message. Again a lie as all the doctors have emails. I advised that I believed that the doctor, given they were apparently still working, when they were supposed to finish at 6, had marked me as unavailable so that they could reduce their call list and that this was not ok . I advised that they needed to put me on the next days list without me having to call back because it is too difficult with my work to call at that time and they said it was impossible. Post-it notes and emails also don't exist in the reception apparently. I told the receptionist that it wasn't funny and that I did not appreciate being lied to and she just kept telling me she wasnt. But Im not stupid. You might be able to fob off a 90 year old technophobe with stories of inability contact each other but I'm not one of those. I said it wasn't good enough and that I wanted to make a complaint I was told there was no management and that is have to wait for the recording of the call to be reviewed and that id hear something at their earliest convenience. I've absolutely nothing good to say about this surgery

It's the worst GP in the world, you have to call at exactly 8am and wait for 40 minutes for them to answer, and then they tell you there are no more appointments today, so call tomorrow at 8am, and you keep calling for three days until they finally give you an appointment.
