I brought 'Hooch' home during the covid time. We enjoyed around 2yrs of his life. He pasted a week ago suffering arthritis and nerve damage and Hooch would have been 9yrs old in October. Sadly missed 😞 by my friends and his x

Excellent charity doing amazing essential work. Staff were friendly, approachable, helpful and professional. Looking to re-home a cat but due to our location informed it would have to be a house cat, which is fine. Staff informed me how to check on what animals they have in their shelters and gave information on local RSPCA shelters which could be of assistance.

Went to a few rescue charity's when looking for a dog to give a home to. These were by far the best we experienced, friendly, understanding, helpful & the dog we got loved all the staff & volunteers she saw when we were there & she is quire a wary dog so that told me all I needed. Our cross breed is the most wonderful addition to our home. Thank you RSPCA Lancashire East xx

A few years since my last visit, went to enquire about adopting a dog. Was told they didn't take people round anymore as it distressed the dogs. All done on line now with home visits.

Brilliant friendly staff who love and look after all the animals as if they were their own. We adopted 2 cats, Adwen and Arthur and all the staff were very helpful. We could visit them whenever we wanted until we were able to take them home, this was never a hassle to the staff. I would definitely recommend Accrington RSPCA. Thank you to everyone.

We now have our beloved Mike thanks to the shelter .
Folk do need to realise that it is a shelter and not a drop off point for unwanted pets.
It was a great experience with people who really care, don't forget they need to be pragmatic in a difficult environment so don't expect sugar coated .

They help those little creatures nobody bothers about with total love and affection then when things don’t pan out they have to take the difficult decisions.
I have offered my skills and free labour as a volunteer and still waiting-what have you done to HELP?
