Fruit & vegetables far better quality than Aldi.
Just wish Lidl would reopen a branch in Barrow-in-Furness.

Decent lidl. Shelves are always well stocked and lots of good offers available. Self scan checkouts available if you've got a smaller shop as well which speeds up getting in and out.

Loads of available parking, toilet on site and always clean.

As I stepped into the cool embrace of Lidl, I was immediately struck by the symphony of sights, sounds, and aromas that enveloped me. The brightly lit aisles hummed with activity as shoppers diligently navigated their trolleys through the maze of products. The tantalizing scent of freshly baked bread wafted through the air, mingling with the crisp tang of fruits and vegetables. It was a sensory overload, yet somehow soothing and familiar.

Amidst the throng of fellow shoppers, I caught a glimpse of a familiar face. There, among the towering stacks of canned goods, stood Jeff Bridges, the iconic actor with his unruly charm and easygoing demeanor. He was casually dressed in jeans and a flannel shirt, his salt-and-pepper hair tousled as if he'd just rolled out of bed.

Despite his star status, there was an air of approachability about him. He moved with a relaxed gait, his hands tucked into his pockets, his eyes taking in the surroundings with a curious twinkle. I watched in fascination as he approached the dairy section, his brow furrowed in concentration.

He paused before the yogurt aisle, scanning the shelves with a discerning eye. Finally, he reached for a large tub of Milbona yogurt, its creamy white label beckoning him. I couldn't help but smile as he hoisted the hefty container into his basket, a satisfied smirk playing on his lips.

The sight of Jeff Bridges, Hollywood legend, contemplating his yogurt choices like any ordinary shopper, was somehow endearing. It brought him down to earth, reminding me that celebrities, despite their larger-than-life personas, are also human beings with everyday habits and mundane pleasures.

With a mischievous grin, I imagined the scene unfolding at Bridges' household. Could it be a shared indulgence with his wife Sue? Or perhaps a treat for his grandchildren, bringing smiles to their little faces? The possibilities were endless, and I found myself chuckling at the thought of the yogurt taking center stage in some heartwarming domestic moment.

As I continued my shopping, the encounter with Jeff Bridges lingered in my mind, adding a touch of magic to my mundane errand. It served as a reminder that even in the most ordinary settings, unexpected moments of wonder can unfold, transforming the everyday into the extraordinary.

This is a wonderfully stocked and clean store, obviously well managed and maintains an enticing prospect for us shoppers. The greengrocery section has grown and had plenty of choice. My only criticism is here and throughout the store price tickets were missing. Maybe the store could have a price check area where you could read the barcode to check.
The cashier was extremely friendly and ensured I was happy with my purchases.

It's Lidl, decent food at reasonable prices

My favourite supermarket. Using the app, you can get deals and rewards when you shop there, which can be incentive enough, but this store in particular seems well-maintained and, generally, keeps good stock levels of everything. They have ample parking, clean and working trolleys, a customer toilet suitable for those with disabilities, manned tills and self-service checkouts. Very easy to use, and never seems ridiculously busy.

Great shopping experience, lovely staff, uncluttered store and plenty of pretzels in the bakery section.

So happy with all my shopping, could’ve been better stocked, but probably was just because I did my shopping at noon, the thing that made me the happiest was to find Harina PAN at the store, I’ll finally be able to make my arepitas and have a taste of home 🥰

You just cannot beat the middle of Lidl for their parkside range of power tools for price and quality. This range is, in my view, for the DIY'ers. I have saved both time and money on my refurbishment projects. Having said that with the three year guarantees, might be useful for the professional as a back up set of kit.

Also full of praise for the quality of Lidl's fruit, veg, pizza, Malbec... blimey, this list will go on and on...

Well stocked and organised. Great location and parking facilities too. Customer service is good too.

My boys love the mini trolleys there too and it looked like a lot of little children love them too when you go shopping and see a lot of kids with the trolleys.

I am not a fan of the self serve tills though because you can't use it independently if you have more than a shopping bag full of shopping because you can't take your bag off to put another bag on....the machine gets confused and then you have to call someone anyway so I would rather go to a till with a person on it.

Yes very friendly staff, always good staff as Ive visit other stores when traveling, love Lidl ... Good products great staff. I was once a staff member myself many moons ago and they are pleasure to work with and staff always work hard keeping shop products up-to-date cleaning ect. Thumbs up from me.
