Imagine a school where a child gets taken out of school, during school hours, by the deputy head, to the hairdressers to have a haircut paid for with school petty cash... without the parents consent. I don't have to imagine that because it happened to me. What happened to that deputy head? Well, he is now head of the Sixth Form. Bullying was rife whilst I was a pupil here and staff were ill equipped to deal with it. So much fuss was made over the length of my hair... Funnily enough, even with my long hair, I managed to pull a Masters degree from a top university. Really happy that my younger brother has opted to go to a different school than start here. I also enjoyed the response to a review from a lad stating he was being bullied - "we don't have a pupil by this name registered at the school". I bet none of you stopped to think that maybe they didn't use their real name for fear of repercussions of leaving a public review. Get it together. I can honestly say that I am ashamed to have gone to this school.
