Had my daughters ears pierced this morning with James. He was fantastic and put her right at ease. Incredibly professional, explaining each step throughout to her and so calming.
The studio piercing room is lovely and serene, impeccably clean and away from the shop which is ideal for no distractions.
Afterwards he explained clearly about aftercare and maintaining her new peircings.

I have bought items from this Jewellers before. It was the first time I had a small issue that I informed them about over the phone. I was invited into the shop where a lovely lady helped me out with the issue. Instead of fobbing me off like you get in some places she replaced the item with a brand new item. This is a quality jewellers with brilliant staff thanks again I will be back again in the future.

Excellent experience all round. We booked an appointment to choose an engagement ring after my partner proposed (the best way to propose if you have no idea what ring to get/what they're looking for!) and we can't fault the experience.
The staff were lovely and Sue helped us choose something beautiful that worked in our budget. They resized the ring in an hour so it was ready to take away that day. We were also offered complimentary drinks and, lucky for us, they had a special discount on with it being the Jubilee weekend!
After wearing my ring for a few weeks, it felt like it needed to be a bit smaller. We're based in Sheffield and getting over to Whalley is tricky but they were really accommodating. I got in touch with Sue and arranged to send my ring via special delivery. They let me know as soon as they received it and returned it special delivery too, free of charge. The only downside is that I happen to chose the week the jeweller went away so it took a bit longer than expected but it's the summer holidays and these things are to be expected.
We'd definitely recommend to anyone looking for fine jewellery for all occasions. There was plenty of range and the service was perfect.

Towards the end of 2021, I purchased two items of jewellery from the FOPE collections from Sarah Layton Jewellers. On both occasions, payments were transacted smoothly, delivery was impeccable, and I was kept updated throughout.

My purchases were made over the phone and what really stands out is this company's customer service which always feels bespoke and personal from start to finish.

Even though I live in the South-East (and near London), SLJ will ALWAYS be my first port of call for future enquiries and purchases. I wanted to share the wonderful experience I had at Sarah Layton's. I inherited my mum's jewellery after she sadly died in 2014. I have been pondering what I wanted to do with it since then. I was adamant I didn't want it sitting in my wardrobe. My mum loved her jewellery and she had given me her blessing "to do what I wanted with it." I wanted pieces I could wear every day and feel my mum with me. I worked carefully with Lauren and thier Goldsmith over several months. She was so patient with me and appreciated how sensitive this was. I also threw into the mix some broken bits of jewellery and bravely handed over my wedding ring (recently divorced). Lauren always treated me with respect and understanding and showed a genuine interest. I cannot tell you how happy I am with finished pieces. I have an amazing contemporary necklace made up of several different pieces of jewellery and 5 AMAZING stacking rings which I wear every day..I have received so many compliments and comments about them. If you ever are thinking of reinventing some old jewellery pieces then go for it. ...with Lauren!!
