I stayed at the attached hotel for 2 nights during a necessary stay in Blackburn.

First things first. The staff are awesome. Super welcoming, friendly and care about looking after the punters. Super service from Ryan, Erin and the tremendous hotel manager 'Pink'. Pink was ace and she really looked after me.

The food for the price is tremendous. Pizza was great, steak for the price was pretty good and the breakfast was too much to eat in one sitting, without taking into account the included continental breakfast offerings of pastries, cereal and bread.

The hotel accommodation is basic, but it's clean and tidy with a decent sized TV and tea and coffee. Certainly better value than the local Travelodge.

Wholehearted recommends for a family and dog friendly pub with decent pub grub at a very good price.

Went for an anniversary date with my partner, had the greatest experience. Would highly recommend to anyone and is also a very family friendly pub so great for young ones! I believe i was served by beth most pf the night and what a lovely person she was kept a great atmosphere throughout my visit! The rest of the staff are also very welcoming but really impressed both me and my partner.

Had a lovely 2 night stay with visiting family.
The staff were all really good and nothing was too much trouble for them.
The rooms were clean and had everything in place for a comfortable stay.
Meals could be had at the adjoining restaurant. Breakfast was also served there.
Breakfast was served to the table after your order was taken. The only very slight negative was the food was not piping hot ( possibly due to the really cold weather for time of year)
Beth ,our waitress was really lovely, asking us frequently if we would like drinks or anything else.
Parking is free and plentiful!
All in all a really lovely stay.

Great clean pub with good menu selection and tasty food at reasonable prices. The staff were friendly and helpful and there is lots of on-site parking available.

I honestly can’t fault this hotel enough. What a rare find and I cannot wait to return on the way back down. We didn’t use the pub for a meal but I am desperate to on the way back down. They reassigned us a ground floor as we had a baby and too much to carry upstairs. Thanks to the staff for being attentive. Can’t wait to try the food!

It was such a great experience I went their for my birthday meal with my family. They gave me a free cocktail for the long wait but it was okay as there was quite a lot of orders. At the end they brought our cake to the table singing happy birthday. Everyone there was so nice and so so kind and lovely I even ended up giving them a peice of my cake for how lovely and amazing the staff was. Definitely will be going there again.

Popped in for a couple of drinks with my husband. Staff welcome and friendly and a good choice of drinks on offer. Thank you to Maddie on the bar for being super helpful when trying to choose an alcohol free option. Really appreciated it

Came on a Thursday for a change, and ordered the deal of Steak and Drink each. Service was great, staff were friendly and welcoming. And the atmosphere was nice and quiet which is exactly how we prefer it, especially it it was our anniversary meal on this particular visit:-)
We enjoyed a drink whilst waiting for our food, which was cooked perfectly. Think we will be switching from weekend visits to weekdays from now on 😄

I recently went to The Willows for lunch and I was really impressed with the quality of the food and with the service of the staff. My meal was delicious and great value for money. I was served by Tegan who was polite, friendly and helpful. All in all a very pleasant dining experience and I will be returning again soon. Thank you!

Visited during the festive period busy but didn’t affect the food and service.
Visited many times before and always greeted by a friendly face. This time we had 8oz steak, chicken burger and two children’s meals absolutely delicious thank you Ben and James.
We’d love to see some jacket potatoes and another curry option on the menu. See you again soon.

Visited with friends for a lunch get together, the young girl who took our order was lovely and could not do enough for us, The food arrived in good time, I ordered a Philly Cheese Steak Baguette which was mostly delicious but I did leave one piece of the steak as it was impossible to chew, the rest of my friends all said they enjoyed their food. I checked with the staff when ordering that the 30% voucher I had received via email was valid and was told it could be used , After the meal I went to the till to pay & asked if the discount had been applied & was told that it had so I just paid the bill, it wasn’t until I got home & was checking the bill to split the cost between us that I noticed that no discount had been applied. I realise I should have checked before I paid but just took the cashiers word for it.

Excellent room very clean and comfortable with a peaceful feel really warm welcome at check in and the staff at the restaurant next door were super helpful wrapped my food and aloud me to take it to my room to eat made a special reunion a beautiful time and I can honestly say that the willows as a place in my heart and I will be returning in the future truly grateful to all staff God bless and a very big thank you

Had a meal here with my family the other night and it was VERY good. Really good food and really decent prices. Staff wer very nice too

All the staff were wonderfull. The food was done well and was good value for money. They treat my two grandaughters (10 & 5 years old,), very well and the landlady was both welcoming and helpfull.

The Willows has significantly upped its game since we last visited.

We came in for a family meal for my cousin's 30th birthday party, there was about 27 of us in total and we all ordered separately, because apparently we like being difficult, but the team at willows where amazing and all the food came out together, beautiful and hot too!

All the staff are very welcoming and helpful. It was a very cold and icy day but the carpark wasn't gritted so was very slippery but there was plenty of parking spaces and the directions were very clear. The room I was in was very clean, lovely and warm and had everything I could need. I did notice after having a shower that the extractor fan wasn't working but it made no difference to my stay. The bed was quite hard as we're the pillows but I had an overall good night's sleep. We had breakfast the next morning which was lovely, service as always was very good. We enjoyed our stay and will be returning again soon, its our go to hotel for when we are visiting family in Blackburn

Excellent staff extremely friendly and very friendly and welcoming.
Can't fault the service and huntsman chicken was I would say the best I had.
Shame we live in Wales but will always come back when visiting family.
Overall Highly Recommended.

I stayed here for the night as i have been here for appointments with my dad at the hospital, he did stay in last night for a mini op so me and my daughther stayed here at the hotel which was so nice so clean. I can not fault the room it was spotless and trust me please keep up the good work as it pays off and you can see its clean and tidy. The bed was made into a double but it was meant to be a single, soon as i asked if it could be changed it was no bother a lovely lady came and changed the beds why we had food which was amasing by the way. Plates where hot which i like to see food set out to detail which is nice and also staff where lovely and friendly. With being a ex hotelier which i owned for 7 years i know what to look out for and i could not fault this place. And breakfast in the morning as well i was met by the manager well she was lovely and breakfast we had a choice so that was lovely and every thing was exolained to us. Parkinng was free and wifi was free if i was to give this 5 stars i would give this 10 stars as its worth it.

Arrived Friday evening and decided to stay in the pub. Staff more than accommodating and very friendly making us feel very welcome, From the young lad who dealt with us at reception to the two young ladies who served us our food and drinks. All staff very hospitable will definitely be returning.
