Sparth House - Exclusive Use Wedding Venue

On my first visit to Sparth House I knew this was the venue for me. And what a perfect day we had. Katie, our wedding coordinator, was fabulous. She went through everything with me that I wanted on the day, so when I showed up I really could just enjoy the day. Every single member of staff was friendly and professional. The food was simply amazing, and all my guests commented on how good it was. Having children at my wedding, I was delighted to see their meals brought out first before serving the adults, and then each individual table were served all at once, meaning no-one on the table were kept waiting for food. The bridal suite was gorgeous and the breakfast the next day was delicious.
If you are looking for your perfect wedding venue, Sparth House is where you need to be. I wish I could do it all again

We had our wedding at Sparth House on 28.07.2023 and what an absolutely magical day they created for us.

From the first time we saw Sparth House and met Katie we knew immediately that it would be our venue.

Katie, Olivia and Emma were absolutely amazing. Katie was our main contact and she was there for me anytime I had a question or a panic, always reassuring me and making sure the day ran smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the girls and I could just hand them things throughout the day or ask for something and I would get it instantly!

The food was absolutely incredible, at the taster day, the night before and on our wedding day/the day! The chocolate brownie especially was absolutely amazing, all our guests commented on how delicious all the food was.

Staying in the garden apartment the night before was absolutely amazing, and being able to get ready in such a beautiful place was brilliant. It made the day so much easier being in the place we were getting married and not needing to rush around and the night before and through the morning we had staff popping up to check if we needed anything.

There are no words for how amazing our day was, everything went so smoothly and not one thing went wrong and it is all down to the whole team at Sparth House. The serving staff were impeccable, we can’t get over how professional they were, they were constantly checking if everything was okay and if we needed anything, they truly made us feel so special.

I would recommend Sparth House for anyone getting married, it is a beautiful venue, every room is different but all equally amazing and the outside spaces are brilliant for photos and to spend the day and night.

From our first initial meeting we knew the venue was the one, just silly things like a little welcome sign with our name on when we came to our venue show around.

Katie was incredible from the beginning, free for any question, which wasn't many as the venue provided us with a booked couples portal with every bit of information on there that we could possibly need.

The day though. Wow. Incredible from start to finish, from Olivia helping the groomsmen with their pocket squares, the very kind waitress who kept coming up to check on us and if we needed any drink. The team, Katie, Olivia and Emma all talked us through each step so we knew what would happen.

The attention to detail was fantastic and they massively helped us with silly things that happened on the day! Ensuring everything went smoothly without our knowledge.

The team on hospitality were flawless, ensuring our guests were well catered for, even to the point of my nana went to order a coffee and the waiter came through to where she was sat with it so she didn't get injured during the party.

We just had such an amazing day, words can't describe it, and we're so thankful for becoming Mr and Mrs at this beautiful venue.

We're praying we attend another wedding there now as we can't wait to go back one day!

If you are looking for an absolute one of a kind, stunning venue with beautiful garden space, even better than you have ever imagined... then this place is 'The One'. From the moment we arrived at Sparth house we knew this was the place for us, we fell in love. Every little detail has been thought out, these ladies (and gents) know exactly what they are doing, its second to none. From the night before in the garden aparment (wow), the best wedding day ever, to the beautiful set up for breakfast the following day... perfect, perfect, perfect! We had the most amazing time and we cannot put into words how grateful we are to Olivia, Katie and Emma (and the rest of the SH team) for the most perfect day xxx

Really enjoyed the 3 course Sunday menu. The food is amazing. You can feel the taste of pride in each dish. The chef really knows what he's doing and the tastes are faultless.. Along with a good selection of gin and professional service.. An delight and a future booking due return. =)

Had a brilliant time recently. We hired it for the night and a had an amazing event for the masons. The food was good and and the drinks were reasonably priced. We experienced a fight in the upstairs of some non-guests to the venue. Also there was a baby that was born. A very interesting experience. Would highly Recomend😃

This venue is amazing! We have booked for our wedding this year, nothing is too much trouble. Fabulous team xxx

A fantastic venue with brilliant staff and amazing food. A very warm and friendly place, it's a credit to all who work so hard to make your day perfect. Looking forward to shooting more weddings here.

Wonderful hotel and very friendly staff. My room was amazing, very comfortable and large.
Breakfast was big and plentiful. Very well looked after staying here.
Wifi is a little patchy, so would need a signal booster on the 2nd floor potentially. But doesn't take away from a lovely hotel experience.
I hope I can be in the area to stay again!

Just celebrated our wedding at Sparth House 15.01.22. From start to finish the team were excellent From the first meeting to the day nothing was to much trouble. The Venue is beautiful, the food outstanding. Thank you so much to Katie & all the team, you made our day perfect

What can we say- We had the most amazing Wedding at Sparth House just two weeks ago. We want to thank Emma and Katie, Olivia and Nigel, all the staff who looked after us and all our guests. From the first moment we looked on your web site we were entranced. Our first visit and chat with Emma was the beginning of creating a magical day. Subsequent visits to look at the bedrooms and to share the different options for the wedding breakfast. I have never eaten such delicious canapes ever! Every possible menu was tasted and declared superb. We took all the bedrooms for our large families so that we could stay overnight and have breakfast together the morning after. All the planning was fun and everything suggested and thought about led to a never to be forgotten wonderful and special day. Our guests were blown away too at the gorgeous venue, the caring, professional staff to whom nothing was too much trouble. The food was unbelievable, excellent, the wine flowed and everyone has high praise for the Team at Sparth House. So, What can we say? My daughter and son in law married at sparth house on the 28/7/23 and we can all honestly say it absolutely amazing!!!! Nothing was too much trouble and everyone had a fabulous experience. Thank you to all the staff they are a credit to their employer. You made our day absolutely awesome xx

From the moment we stepped into the house I knew this would be a where we would get married. It just felt right. Such a homely yet elegant feel. We booked our wedding two years in advance but the girls kept in touch all the way through with check in emails and were always on hand to answer any questions!

I stayed with my bridal party the night before in the garden apartment and would undoubtedly recommend this for all brides. I felt so relaxed, the apartment is gorgeous and not having the stress of traveling anywhere on the morning of the wedding was perfect.

The day ran without fault and that was all down to our amazing wedding planner Katie and her fantastic team. She ensured the day ran effortlessly which as the bride and groom is so important on an already nerve filled day! From fixing my veil moments before I walked down the aisle to ensuring I always had a drink in my hand, Katie went above an beyond to make sure our day was more than we could have dreamed of.
Every individual guest was catered for, no little detail missed and all our guests commented (and still continue to comment) on what an amazing time they had - especially the food!! Having full exclusivity of the venue meant we could truly relax and party without the worry of unknown guests being part of our day and this was something a lot of other venues we had looked at couldn’t provide.

I wish we could do the day over and over and would advise anyone considering Sparth House as their wedding venue to choose it!

We had our daughters wedding Saturday 25th march.
Well organised venue, beautifully decorated, rooms stylish and very clean.
Wedding meal was excellent, drinks were reasonably priced.
Breakfast was great if you like the full English.

Well my niece had her wedding a few weeks ago here, by all accounts it was a very nice place. Only problem was food was nice but very smalI portions as I was told by Grandma but then I wouldn't know I was the only uncle not invited! Reason she doesn't know me! I taught her to ride a bike, put a roof over mums and thier heads when times were tough. Well it is how it is life! Guess that makes me uncle knobhead as Peter Kay would say. Sorry no photos as the bride and groom banded all photos and any social media.

Had a surprise 60th birthday at the Sparth Hotel, Accrington.
The food was delicious, the staff were amazing, friendly and they even went to the trouble of getting in a particular ginger beer for one of our non-drinking guests.
The accommodation was clean, comfortable and had a Brilliant night. Big thank you to all my family and friends and thank you to the staff, you made me feel really special
