Jane thank-you so much for supplying wine for Lucy’s and Matts wedding. Guests have asked where we got the wines from. Your help and guidance greatly appreciates as always. Thank-you x

A fantastic wine, beer, spirits and locally made craft products shop. Some fab bets and wines plus local gins. A great display of local crafted items such as glass and coffee, tea and ice cream. Definitely worth a visit to stock up or buy some great gifts. Parking is right next to the shop on Hall Gate Car park plenty of spaces plus disabled. Would recommend a trip to Barrica On the Park.

I can't rate this place enough amazing wines. We regularly meet in the upstairs room and the staff are helpful and friendly, looking forward to the wine taste meal next month. Keep up the great work guys 😃

A hidden gem with so many incredible local products and quality wines, beers and spirits. The gift shop upstairs is super too. Friendly, courteous staff and I enjoyed a lovely Mango sorbet. Thanks ladies :-)

We had a superb time on Sat 20th April when our party of 4 attended the wine flight, presented by Jane (the owner of Barrica Wines) whilst sampling a 3 course meal prepared by Ian (the owner of the View Bar & Bistro). Brilliant food and fantastic wine … we were all amazed. Also, the 4 of us learned that apart from selling a great range of wines at affordable prices; Barrica Wines offered far more than being a classy wine merchant. In the café area upstairs (where we enjoyed the wine flight and food) we saw that there were extremely interesting crafts and artefacts made by local artisans and artists for sale. Without doubt a gem to be experienced for both the wine and the café. Plus, the View Bar & Bistro, Bury Lane, Withnell (who provided the meal) is also highly recommended.

Such a great local shop that showcases other local businesses. Fantastic range of wines and the staff can give you recommendations without making you feel intimidated. They are more than happy to help you choose and are so knowledgeable. Lovely range of gifts, they can make up gift hampers for any occasion. Get yourself down there, have a browse and support this amazing local business.

Over 20 Artisan Retailers share this space situated within Astley Hall Farmhouse’s Walled Garden. A Great Place to visit with lovely walks, scenery and now an excellent local shopping experience. Well worth a visit for some unique gifts, great wines and artisan foody treats.

More than just a wine shop.
Packed with arts, crafts, gifts, artisan teas, coffee and preserves.
Did I mention ice-cream?

They also stock Revive Turmeric and ginger juice - Great for relief from inflammation and pain.

Definately a destination place.

I bought the pitmaster zinfandel after staff recommendation!

I've been on a red wine journey since January looking for a healthier alternative than rosé wine. I've tried a few reds now, and made more beef ragu than I care to remember with the amount of red wines I've not liked 😅🍷

This zinfandel is really smooth and fiery. It doesn't leave the usual bitter aftertaste in the mouth I've experienced with other types.

Thankyou for your expert recommendation! I'll be back! 🍷

This is a little gem, lots of interesting variety, stuff you won't see elsewhere. And the young lady serving was a charm, what an asset to have in your business. Knowledgeable, friendly, authentic.

This is a lovely hidden gem in Astley Park Close to the hall.
An excellent wine shop, with beers and spirits also. They are really informative about their wines, recommending wines for meals. I used to buy wines in supermarkets, but discovered this shop and I now buy quality not quantity.
They also sell cakes and pies locally sourced.
Upstairs is a lovely gift shop from local artists.
I would highly recommend a visit.

Fabulous place to visit while in Astley Park right next to the car park for easy access... unique gifts, food items or a hot brew and cake 😋
If your looking for an ideal gift then please look into the hampers which can be made up specifically for you and look amazing... my dad loved his gin/coffee one at Christmas 😍

Fantastic little shop round the back of Astley Hall with fantastic wines and beers, and teas and coffees, and bread and cakes, and ice cream and sweets, oh and brilliant and knowledgeable staff. Can’t wait to sit in the garden again this summer with a beer and a bottle of wine and chill out ☺
