Having been a critic in the past it is only fair and right to share updated views.

Farida & Other Personnel............

Due to various conditions including being high risk from Covid-19, I have had to rely on the surgery so often.

The service provided has been excellent ranging from the General Practitioners due diligence on various symptoms/guidance/care to the warm support from the Reception staff.

I have been very satisfied with the amount of time provided to assist on different matters raised.

To that end, it has been excellent to see the co-ordination between the Surgery and Royal Blackburn Hospital.

I know how much support I have required this year already and will require for remainder of the year and beyond. The processes have been flawless.

One has to be pleasant in manners first so others can reciprocate - any walk of life. I myself have seen personal attacks on the Reception staff by waiting patients who probably should know better as per their religion too. Or I would go as far as saying how many may not be able to talk in a nice manner via phone medium or show patience when in the queuing system for an appointment. Its not the fault of the Reception staff if the man/woman in the neighbourhood will not be bothered to attempt self-diagnosis for something minor, use pharmacist staff for something slightly greater, and only then approach the Surgery.

There is parking facility nearby for short duration which serves the purpose. It is nothing to do with the Surgery but the Council operating a permit system on adjacent residential streets. Plenty of parking facilities in adjacent areas for a few quid - mindset of freebies on everything is the problem.

Reading the various negative comments being bombarded by others - may be self-reflection required first of when one did receive excellent service and your problem/diagnosis was resolved did you put yourself out by calling the surgery again to pass on a thanks back or just take, take, & take policy.

We should count our blessings we still have a Surgery on our doorstep especially in these unprecedented times!

I know already from the Surgery I will get a flu vaccination even through delivery isn't expected until late October 2020. May be I got that news on the off chance when enquiring about something else as a blessing because of attempt to be pleasant on the phone.

Thank you folks.....I would not want to be in your shoes and doing your jobs so hats off for what you do and what you put up with too.

a great practice providing efficient care. easy to access appointments and the doctors take their time with their patients providing thorough care, especially Dr Zaki. they listen to your concerns and meet expectations, would recommend to all

My mum and dad are quite ill we need medication all the time and appointments we know the surgery is busy but they have never said no to us whenever we need anything we have no issues with them everyone one I spoke to says it is hard to get through to the surgery

The reason I am giving 5 star is because the first time after a long time a receptionist someone new was so friendly and polite and greeted me wit a smile you know who you are this 5 star rating is for you

It’s really hard to get an appointment but when you do the doctors like Peter are really helpful and understanding.

Staff are kind and attentive. The only downside is that their phones are forever busy, I've tried calling several times but no luck. In times like this they need more phone lines especially when we can't come in straight away.

Worst surgery ever! Trying to get an appointment ends up in an argument with a receptionist. My elderly parents are not in the best of health and the surgery does not help. The building looks like it is falling apart and staff retention is shocking- this does not surprise me. I think its time to look elsewhere.

Time for new management!
Shocking service all round from the time it takes to get through on the phone to seeing a clinician who isn’t able to prescribe medication without consulting the registered GP, then being being told prescription could take upto 48hrs after initially being told it would be at the pharmacy in 30 mins.

WORST GP EVER!! Why hasn't it closed down yet?? Call position 1 for prescriptions over 20mins it took them to answer, Total time on phone from queue position 5 was 45 minutes!! I call to request for my parents,, Does the head of this surgery not read these reviews or look into sorting their shìtty reception staff out?? What do they do answer 1 call an hour ?? Pathetic!! ALWAYS the case here!!

Ridiculous attitude from doctor. Doesn’t provide clear or actual reasoning behind illness or disease. Every time you ask a question she brings you back to what she previously discussed which has no relevance to the question asked . Felt the appointment was very rushed, I was in the room for approximately 2 mins and didn’t feel satisfied with the reasoning or the cause of the health condition. Very poor

Genuinely the WORST medical practice I've ever encountered. The attitude of the receptionists is unbelievable sometimes and they'll happily hang up on you if you call them out on it and then refuse to let you speak to anyone to complain. It's not much better once you get to see the doctors as they might be listening to the actual problem or they might not - it's a lucky dip. Been giving them a chance to improve for 3 years now and they just get worse. Oh, and if your issues involve mental health? Forget about it. Shocked they're still allowed to operate, frankly.

THE WORST GP 🤣🤣 it’s absolutely a joke . Close down and let are problems kill us already . Don’t pick up the phone . Cant book online . Take weeks and weeks to get an appointment. The doctors don’t know what they’re doing . They read out books . It’s like they’ve graduated from Ohio . Where’s dr Alam gone ? he was good the rest are useless . No help at all . You all give Asians a bad name . Shame on all of u . Especially receptionist. Drop your egos and get back to working in kitchen . I’m vexed . My problems here are causing me stress and other issues and I can’t rely on my local gp . Turn it into another tea place or something. Close it down .
