The Healthcare Centre

Since this place hired new receptionists it has been fantastic! I was extremely disappointed during, and a while after covid with the attitude of the reception staff however, recently new people have been hired and the difference is phenomenal! Nothing is ever a problem, they're very respectful of your issues, and very helpful all round.

Dr Chesworth has been extremely helpful and receptive to make positive changes with in the practice. He has taken the time to listen to the things that are meaningful and impact my daughter on a daily basis, by reviewing practice policies and patient care in light of this. We are over the moon with the level of understanding and time and consideration he has given my daughter.

The doctors have always done an amazing job, listening to what you tell them and recommending the best thing for you. Never had any problems and always felt like they listened and didn't push your problems aside.

I find all the receptionists very friendly and helpful. Never had a problem with this surgery. The best I've used.

Blood test appointment at a very convenient early time today. Definitely need more of these. I went to 3 clinics and couldn’t get a blood test done so this was great.

I always have excellent service from both reception staff, nurses and doctors at the centre. The nurses are friendly and professional I was recently reviewed by Jess, she is always smiling and very helpful. The nurses are quick to offer advice and will refer on if required. I have no concerns when I visit the surgery and know I will be treated well and with respect.

After an emergency admission, The Healthcare Centre was prompt to provide me with a follow up appointment.
Dr Chesworth was professional and compassionate to my situation and offered me reassurance that my referral would be chased up.
Since my follow up appointment he has offered further follow-up care after he had spoken to the specialist.
I always find the all the staff at The Healthcare Centre accommodating and friendly.

Exceptional Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, and Nurses, who are very caring, very compassionate. From the senior Doctors down to the receptionists. All are tremendous, I have many health problems, but I always feel in very safe hands here. 🙂

Let me start by stating I'm new with the surgery, but the empathy and support I've had since joining as been great.
I have felt listened too with the multiple health issues i have and these are being addressed where It wasn't at my old surgery

I can not speak highly enough of this GP practice. All staff are approachable, professional and take the time to understand your needs in order to ensure you get the appropriate help and support. They have embraced the new technology and using the online app helps you as a patient access the right services.

In my opinion, this is one of the best GP practices I've ever been to (I have moved around a lot).
The doctors, nurses, and receptionists are all professional and compassionate.
Considering how very busy they are, they will go out of the way to assist.
I've always found their services exceptional, and I would recommend this practice 100%.

Longsands Medical Centre and the Medical Centre on Flintoff Way are extremely well run and efficient. My Doctor Dr Chesworth is happy cheerful totally reliable and exceptional in his work. 5 stars without a doubt. 👏🏻👏🏻

I moved to The Healthcare Centre roughly 8 years ago when I moved to Fulwood, since then every visit is quick and easy with great, friendly and knowledgeable doctors who are always happy to help.

I would definitely recommend.

It was a pleasure seeing Dr Acton today, called in for appt on time, a pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. Enjoyed the visit.

Perfect experience received today. The dr and nurse where lovely and put me at ease throughout the whole process

Very quick and professional.. highly recommend, nurse jess , and Joanne who I've dealt with in the past...

They have always been there for me and couldn't have done more if I had been family. Now on dialysis but they expedited a wheelchair for me. A wonderful lot of doctors nurses and receptionists. Friendly and helpful. And very good at what they do. Long may they continue.
