ROKT CLIMBING GYM

I've been going to this place for about 4 months now and I pay the membership for unlimited climbing (Can't go wrong at £30 per month). Entry for non members is a reasonable £8 (£5 with a student card).

You've got 4 bouldering rooms and the largest lead climb wall I've seen around plus 4 climbing silos for top roping (12 climbs per silo with differing grades). All good quality and the centre is well maintained with the routes changing at a regular intervals.

All in all it recommend this place to anyone

I have to say that the way it is organized is amazing. They have more activities than bouldering or rock climbing. the building has 4 floors with different levels, stuff, difficulties.
The colour guide is different that the one I followed in previous boulders so it can take a bit until you start finding tracks suitable for yourself, but it will be fun.

An amazing place! The wall is properly high and the indoor place varied and busy. The staff were very supportive. Thumbs up!

Myself and children have attended the Rokt on a few occasions now for funded programs. Staff are always welcoming, friendly and very professional in what they do. Highly recommended to join in on any future programs that may be relevant. Worth giving them a follow on social media to check out what's going on.

My son and I did the taster session today.
The session lasted an hour and a half and was thoroughly enjoyable.
We tried bouldering on several different walls and also roped ascents of 2 different 16 metre walls
Our instructor was friendly and really encouraging, never disparaging even my feeblest efforts
We had opted to do the optional caving which was challenging but fun. When I went to pay for this at the end of our session I was told there was no charge as we'd completed it within our hour and a half allotted time. I thought this was extremely fair of them as they could have easily taken my money
All in all a very enjoyable experience that I would recommend

Very welcoming and knowledgeable staff who have an obvious love for climbing and helping others. Routes are changed regularly with some very interesting problems even for the lower grades. The kids groups/coaching are always well organised and kept under control, and maybe it's just climbers in general but even the very good climbers here are friendly and encouraging to newbies. The training room at the very top is usually quiet with enough equipment to get a very good calisthenics workout done, and the sunsets are beautiful through the roof. Very happy to have found this gym.

I climbed here regularly when I lived in nearby Halifax. The facilities are excellent and the staff are very nice and extremely helpful, particularly as I climbed a few times with novices from work. It was always pretty busy when we arrived at 18:30-19:00 after work, and with good reason I think. There was never an issue getting space to climb, so I always left feeling pretty REKT.

School holiday kids activities are 1st class, affordable and delivered by experts who also know how to engage with children. Adult 121 tuition also very thorough and extremely friendly. 2nd visit today and both times have been top quality. Nice coffee too! Can't recommend enough.

Great fun, took my two young children ages 4 and 5 to do something a bit different. I thought they would struggle but they took to it straight away and managed to make their way around most of the junior walls with ease and really enjoyed it. This place is huge and spans over several floors (lots of steps), and has walls for a what looks to be a good range of climbing standards.

I would recommend some decent footwear although you can hire for very small charge and booking ahead as you will need an intro session for first time, luckily it was quiet so they could fit me in otherwise I would have had to return later that day.

Awesome friendly staff who give good advice, good selection of rope climbs, a ton of bouldering rooms which are reset regularly. The summer league blue routes have been ace. Decent coffee and selection of snacks at reasonable prices too. My only wish is that the slab room gets reopened soon because it was so fun in there

Loving the new upstairs space, feels like high ball indoors, and the safety is much better than the previous room on the opposite side. The cave room and slab rooms have had big improvements as well, so Rokt keeps on getting better, and is quickly becoming the best indoor wall in the region.

We're here in Halifax on vacation from Australia and have been to Escape Room twice now. The guys who run this, Ben & Lee, are super cool and made the whole thing really fun.

I would definitely recommend this place to everyone who likes a bit of fun, solving puzzles and cracking codes.

Loads of bouldering walls for all abilities, then some fantastic climbs for all abilities inside n out. Staff are very pleasant. Stick to the rules n have some great climbing.

There is something for every grade of climber. There are 12 top rope routes in each of the three silos graded from 3+ upwards. Several bouldering rooms. Leading walls, not tried yet but look great. Snacks and hot drinks available but if you want something more substantial go across the road to Millers. The menu is great and several choices of real ale.

Rockt climbing gym is a very good place. It is great for rock climbers with all kinds of different obstacles. But also this place is very good for other things like a birthday day out because they have escape rooms etc

Unlike any other climbing wall I've been to. Innovative bouldering features and amazing fixed rope routes inside the grain silos. My kids love the place
