Clean, comfortable, quiet at night, all very welcoming with the added bonus of having a great Italian restaurant attached. Great food. Will definitely keep thus place in mind for the next time we're down this way. Oh and very dog friendly!

myself, my husband, baby and dog need some where to stay for 4 days as we where have jobs done in our house I found this lovely place and it's a wonderful place to stay bed's are very comfortable and the rooms are lovely just what we needed 😊
The owns are so welcoming very kind and go out of there way to help. It was lovely to find a place that could take dogs. The breakfast was good we had toast and creal my little baby enjoyed the toast as he was trying it for the first time 😋😋. We would stay here again thank you very much for a very happy and pleasant stay 😊🙂

A great place to stay with really friendly, family staff who can't do enough for you.
Very, very handy with quick access via Charnock Richard services area, less than I minutes drive from service area access road.
Good prices with very clean, freshly laundered bed linen and excellent breakfast.
Highly recommended as a regular stop off point.

Really great wee motel. Helpful friendly owners and delicious Italian restaurant next door. Its about 8 miles from the M6 and well worth the drive! Room was clean and the bed was firm and comfy. Will definitely use again.

The place was beautiful and had a home feel to it also brilliant if you dont like stairs or are disabled. The people are lovely and kind and are always there to help. The breakfast is fantastic and the staff were so kind always making sure if you were ok or if you needed anything. Defiantly going back, it was a lovely stay. Would highly recommend.

I am currently staying at the hunters lodge and I have to rate it so highly. Although the decor is dated, everything else more than makes up for it. I checked in late and I was welcomed by one of the owners. He was extremely friendly, gave me tips on how to get to my destination when I left tomorrow and very accomodating with my having to leave early but still telling me I needed to have breakfast and where to find it even though breakfast wasn't for another hour after I was leaving!
The bed was extremely comfortable (way more comfortable than a premier Inn etc ...) And I can see from the crowds that the restaurant next door must be well liked.

If you are traveling and need a lovely well priced place to stop then you should have a wee look here.

Lovely friendly, helpful & down-to-earth people. The motel represents amazing value for money. Tired and vintage decoration, furniture & fittings but immaculately clean and tidy. The management were really helpful when I arranged to leave an item for someone else to pick up. I will certainly book here again when I'm next in that area.

Friendly and welcoming. Very comfortable room with everything you could need. Bathroom needs updating. Simple breakfast but for the money great value and all we needed (cereal and toast). Would stay again.

It all depends on what you like, I personally think it's a great place. Situated a few miles off the M6 and run by a very friendly couple. I've stayed a few times and honestly can't fault it... My last stay, I had my Chinese takeaway delivered to my room! Now that's pretty good. ;-)

Recently booked there for visiting friends and the staff were fantastic.
I had a couple of requests and nothing was a problem at all.
Will 100 percent use them again and recommend them to people.

What a lovely hotel, very clean and comfortable room and so many small extras for such a great price, lovely young family running it too, would definitely recommend and visit again.

Lovely little family run motel, clean rooms & we had a good nights sleep in a comfy bed. I’d stay again and recommend 🙂

Large clean rooms with TV, Fridge, Kettle, Hairdryer & en suite Bathroom. Breakfast was included. Would stay again, lovely place.

couldnt fault anything,room was clean and spacious,bed was comfy,breakfast was great,staff very pleasant,reasonably priced dog friendly(which is a stuggle to find a nice place to take a dog nowadays)will defo be coming back

Really enjoyed friendly owners should of been there for two nights but due to family emergency we unfortunately couldn't enjoy the two nights that we booked all amenities readily available thankyou

Excellent accommodation - very cosy and comfortable. Landlady very friendly and helpful. My wife and I will happily return.
