Library House Surgery

I just want to thank you so much to library surgery who have bent over backwards to get me the help, support and care I needed this week from the young male trainee receptionist on the phone to his manger Jackie and Dr Yates who made time in his busy schedule to see me and treat me. I honestly can't thank you enough, not only for that but also the follow up phone call and follow up appointments booked. I am truly grateful and appreciative. Thank you for everything that you do.x

Just moved to the Library House from another surgery that me and my partner were both dissatisfied with.
We certainly made the right move and have always been treated with utmost respect by all staff!Dr Hart is such a caring,beautiful inside and out,person!!!!I cannot praise her enough!!!!!Thank you for a fantastic service/experience!!!!!

Absolutely brilliant staff doctors nurses, medication staff and reception team. I've had brilliant service from everyone. Would highly recommend in fact I recommended the surgery to one of my work colleagues and she also had nothing but praise too the surgery has easy access and there is a car park and also 2 pharmacies directly across the road from the surgery Also there is limited parking outside the surgery.

Been A Patient At Library House From The First Day They Opened. And Can Honestly Say I've Never Had A Problem Speaking To Someone Or Seeing A Doctor. Plus There's Lots Of New Specialists And Services Starting. So I'd Definitely Recommend This Surgery

It is the main Doctors Surgery in Chorley.

Can be really busy, be polite and calm, then you will be replied to the same way. The staff feel the pressure too when it's busy, so being irritating and pushy will help no one.

Just moved in to the area.Excellent service! was given an appointment the same day. All staff has been absolutely fantastic and it is probably the friendliest GP I've come across ! Couldn’t ask for more!Thank you for your immaculate service!

I have only once, in 44 years of being registered with this practice, had an issue which was very quickly resolved. The doctors, clinical practioners, phlebotomists, nurses et al are at all times professional and have empathy. Until recently I have only needed , their services on an annual basis. I have relied on my healthy diet and physical activity to keep me well. In recent weeks swift action by Dr Cairns alerted a visit to hospital and a new way of life. I am thankful to him and everyone involved.

This practice provides an excellent service. The reception staff are friendly, caring and efficient and the clinical staff also provide a very caring, efficient and professional service. I would highly recommend to friends and family.

It's incredible to see so many negative reviews. But they were excellent helping out my family today. If they improve there telephone system, it will be a fantastic GP overall.

I moved here recently and can offer the team nothing but praise. They communicate with you regularly, the doctors show great expertise and they care about their patients showing kindness and empathy.

my family have been with Library House for the last 15 years after being at other surgeries. we've never had a problem, the staff have always been friendly, helpful and quick to refer to specialists if necessary. we've always managed to get emergency, on the day appointments. telephone waiting times can be ages but i'm sure this is the same everywhere. i would recommend this surgery.

I’ve been with Library House all my life.
Yes I’ve had some right upsets with them over the years for various things, however I’m leaving a 5 star review because for the last year I have received amazing and understanding care from the team.
The practice Manager has heard my rants and concerns previously but has ensured I am listened to and the issues addressed.
I can only thank the practise manager and his team, especially John and Ruth for their continued support.
We all have our issues with any services in life, but if we sort them correctly with the correct people, it can workout to be a less stressful process.
I’m a full time working, single parent with zero time to herself.
NHS are so stretched, let’s all try to work together.

Staff here are amazing, certain people only comment on the negatives and never the positives.
My son had his preschool boosters today, and the nurses were amazing! So thank you for making my son laugh and distracting him, and for treating him as a individual. Great team!!

Absolutely brilliant doctors. Reception staff so helpful, call back when they say they will. Got appointment straight away yesterday for my poorly son and nurse julie was lovely

I've been a patient at this practice for years now and have been well looked after by the medical team and why people are having a go at the reception staff is beyond belief they have always been great with me I suppose it's how you treat them show them respect and you get the same back.

Really helpful staff, advice and appointments are easily accessible and clinical staff give patient choice in care planning.
