Argos Clitheroe in Sainsbury’s

All the staff have always been really friendly to me here. When I had an item I'd got for my son for Christmas that had a piece missing they ordered me another one (as they didn't have it in stock) and I picked it up the next day.
I also regularly pick up parcels from eBay here as it is conveniently near my work.

Have visited numerous times over the past few weeks. Staff are helpful & friendly. Especially Adrian who always seems to be cheerful even when he has to work on his day off! Well done guys for keeping on smiling through 'Silly season' 😁

There's only a couple of staff that are approachable and genuinely nice the rest are quite grumpy and shouldn't be on the desk! I've been in with a few faulty items over the years and they DO NOT like refunding!
I took a toy back just after Christmas that didn't work, the lady who served me hardly spoke a word, it doesn't hurt to smile. I tried to make conversation but it was a waste of time. 👎

I was served by a blonde older woman called Dawn. Extremely unprofessional in attitude, was sat on a stool playing on her phone. She wasn't logged on her till, I had to wait. There were some noisy teenagers in the shop at the time and and Dawn stated 'I hate kids', how unprofessional. My order was given to me in quick time, which was the only positive thing in my shopping experience today. Come on Argos, you can do better than this.

Took an item back before Christmas, 2 members of staff were very rude. I had the receipt and when I gave in my wife’s card to refund the item the lady tried to tell me my wife had to be here as she bought it. How rediculous I showed my driving licence to prove this was my wife’s card. She was implying I had stolen the card. Why would I steal a debit card of someone and then try to take an item back to a store for a refund on it??

At the same time I bought an item, it came out the back with the box already been opened and a label saying it had been inspected? I asked why it was like this and the rude woman said it’s been returned but inspected so it works fine. I said I didn’t want it and she replied well it’s the only one in stock!

Then my in laws bough a flashing unicorn night light for my daughter, for Christmas, it broke within a few days. We took it back and Adrian was very reluctant to swop it for a new one even though we had the receipt. He came out the back with one not in a box and gave it to my farther in law. He was very rude! It broke again a few days later, (obviously a fault on them) So we took it back again and Adrian wanted video proof of it not working. My farther in law is 70 and does not have a video phone. He was very upset that this man was basically calling him a liar over a £20 flashing unicorn!!!
I think you all need to practice your costumer care skills, and stop exchanging items which have already been taken in as faulty! I have lost all faith in this store and shall not be returning again. There used to be a proper Argos store in clitheroe which was very well ran. They have put this tiny one in Sainsbury’s and clearly the people working there just don’t want to be there and don’t care, what a shame for such a big branded store.

Ordered a Tu clothing item for a child’s Christmas, to collect at clitheroe Sainsbury’s 12th Dec. Order confirmation came saying it was expected 14th (shipped from central warehouse apparently). 17th I was told it wasn’t there yet, 22nd dec, having heard nothing I was told it was in Burnley and to ring them myself, on my own phone! While they just stood there looking like ‘why are you still here?’. Burnley couldn’t find the item or any record my order! So offered to cancel and re-order, 2 days before Christmas! I made my displeasure known at this point and after a manager was involved, they found the same item was in stock in clitheroe Sainsbury’s all along! Click and collect doesn’t seem to work at Argos!

Clitheroe Argos. WHY bother ordering things online from there.
You go to pick it up after you have had text messages saying it's ready to pick up, nope not a chance, you get staff that look like they can not be bothered.
You ask why it is not there once you show them yr messages on yr phone, yr get shrugged shoulders.
This has tapped on more then 3 occasions. Absolute frustrating!!!

Tried to order a Vax for twenty minutes or more kept saying wrong password and they would email another pass, after 1 hour went on Amazon and ordered in three minutes cheaper coming tomorrow, get your act together i even walked to the store to be told i couldn’t order at the counter Ridiculous, especially while I’m stood in front of them.

Shocking Customer Service. Quick to take your money, but don’t wanna give it back. Rude Staff (Adrian)

Terrible treatment by the staff, there for three hours without the problem being resolved, no customer skills what so ever, Pick another branch avoid Clitheroe Argos.
