I bought a used car from here recently and was very pleased with the service I received,a month in and I had an issue with my car but they where excellent and dealt with the issue within a few days plus gave me a courtesy car whike mine was in,I would recommend ycc to anyone looking to buy a used car.just adding an update the same issue occurred again and persisted to occur on half a dozen occasions which ended up costing me a lot of money and time travelling to and from the garage for them to repair my vehicle,infact on 2 occasions when I went to collect it the same problem occurred within a mile of leaving the garage! Thankfully they did eventually solve the problem but I was less than impressed and very stressed at the whole situation

This busy medium sized dealership deserves a 5 star rating for all aspects of the recent purchase of my new SsangYong SUV.
I was made to feel welcome and Steve the head salesperson listened carefully to my needs and wishes. My requirements were carefully analysed and questioned (Important) before finally choosing a vehicle. Every aspect of the purchase was professionally dealt with and all time lines and promises were kept.(A bit unusual in the motor trade). The preparation standard of the vehicle was as it should be, immaculate.
I am sure the same level of customer attention would apply if you were purchasing a used vehicle.
The service reception were equally helpful on my first visit back and were of the same high standard as my recent BMW experiences.

Sometimes the purchase of a car can be a traumatic experience but this family dealership deserves high praise for its customer service and friendly approach.

Great experience buying a car from Barkers even during Covid restrictions. The salesman steve Birtwistle was great to deal with, made the whole process easy, explaining everything he would do for me doing all DVLA action on My behalf

Arranged to test drive a Turismo for my husband who is disabled. Very efficient garage. Steve has an excellent phone manner and was very helpful at the test drive. The car turned out to be unsuitable for my husband but that was no bother for them. Highly recommend this garage.
