The Creative Cactus

Went for a Mother's Day afternoon tea today.
Had a great time. Fantastic attention to detail and a real effort made with the afternoon tea.
One of us has an allergy and this was checked thoroughly beforehand, with some great alternatives provided. We also had a great time doing the pottery painting too.

This cafe is a hidden little treasure!! a lovely, welcoming, friendly cafe with delicious food and lots for the children to do too, with pottery aswell as lots of different workshops! We have visited a few times and are always made to feel so welcome and always enjoy our visits! Keep being amazing creative cactus, would defo recommend everyone visits!!

I visited with my Mum and Nephew and had a lovely time. We all really enjoyed painting some pottery. The instructions were really clear and the staff were super helpful. They had a great range of pottery you could paint as well as a myriad of colours to paint them with.
We also had lunch which was delicious. The potions were generous and the food was tasty. I can highly recommend the tuna and special cheese toasties. The coffees were also good.

Fantastic little cafe. Took my 2 children and they loved painting some pottery. The owner was so lovely and helpful taking time to sit with my children and help.
The food was also brilliant. Standard cafe menu but done really well.

I recently visited here after walking past and noticing the pottery. I went in to do pottery painting with my mum and we LOVED it. The team are extremely welcoming and the food was delicious! We’re already planning our next trip back.

A brilliant creative cafe! You can eat delicious toasties that we keep you full and paint pottery all day! If you just want a meal there's no pressure to paint. The Best toasties in the UK and most options can be made veggie.

The team are amazing and passionate with their cafe and craft. All this at affordable prices.

Family friendly cafe/ coffee shop/ arts and crafts.
Food is freshly prepared, the owner is lovely and can't do enough for you. Children aren't frowned upon if they are having a moment ( or two )..
Free activities are provided as well as the paid for stuff.

Fabulous experience with incredible food 😋 The boys and I really enjoyed painting our pottery and are super excited to see the results. Lovely atmosphere, lots of excellent pottery choices & service with a smile, we left with full tummies and full hearts 🥰 Thanks for having us ❤

Fabulous place! Lovely family run business, very reasonably priced food and pottery items too! So welcoming and honestly can not do enough for you. The paint at home kits are fantastic and we can't wait for the studio to be able to reopen so that we can go back for another visit too. Highly recommend 🥰

Went onThursday with Husband and Grandson's, what a lovely warm welcome we received, straight out with colour's and cardboard cutout's for the boy's to decorate, and proper tasty comfort food served, husband had a bowl of Chicken broth served with a big hunk of fresh bloomer bread (a hug in a bowl) and at £3.00 per serving absolutely amazing value for money, I had a toasty, again served on toasted bloomer with a big fresh side salad and homemade coleslaw and crisps on the side, really tasty,fresh and great value, cheese on toast for the boy's, quality cheese toasted on fresh cut bread and toasted to perfection, a lovely lady who clearly has a knowledge for good quality food. Well worth a visit.

Absolutely fabulous place! Took my nephew today and I don't know who had more fun, him or my husband and I!! Great selection of pottery to paint and run by a lovely family! 100% recommend

Been coming here on a weekly basis for the social butterflies group and its absolutely amazing! My little one has such a good time and it's a really good price for an hour and a half of fun. The hot drinks are delicious and there is a variety of food and snacks on hand for little ones.

Brilliant turkey cranberry and stuffing toastie, can’t fault the service at all, we will be back for more I’m sure, we have had the take away and paint pottery within the last year too, fantastic fun for an elf on the shelf idea and then the mug was delivered back on Christmas Day by the man himself. Jo turned the fired items round in no time and I for one am Wishing you all the best with this fantastic addition to Accrington.

The best food in accrington accompanied with lovely service and a nice welcoming environment. Great for lunch out with the kids, amazing food for you and colouring and crafts for the kids. Perfect
