The Chorley Surgery

Cannot fault the Chorley Surgery. All the staff are very friendly, kind and helpful. The Receptionists always go the extra mile, nothing is too much trouble and the Nurse Practitioners and GPs are excellent, you feel as if they genuinely care. Really pleased with the way the new online appointment system and NHS app is working, it made it very easy to arrange appointments for me and my husband.

This is my family's GP and the service has always been great. The staff are always professional and treat us with respect. Occasionally there are wait times when you come for your appointment but considering you are dealing with people's health I don't mind waiting!

I’ve been a patient here for a while. The GP is relatively easy to see if you call first thing.

I also moved my toddler here and they have been amazing with him. I called at 17:30 and they were able to give an appointment for 11am the day after(even though he had already been seen that day), no need to call at 8am. Good to know I can get my son in when I need to.

It was my first visit to the surgery. I'm really pleased with the nice reception, compared my previous surgery, this is much better. Miss Ann Batty in particular was very kind.

Having lived in different parts of the UK, this is the best surgery I've been to - always get an an appointment on the day, GPs give sufficient time to see you and clearly explain diagnosis, symptoms and medications. All staff very friendly. Reception staff have also gone well out of their way to help me twice. Dr Dickinson has been absolutely fantastic and is probably the friendliest GP I've come across.
Other reviews mention being on hold for a long time and never seeing the same GP twice - sadly this is the case in every single surgery and is nothing to do with individual surgeries.

Excellent service was given an appointment the same day. Seen by the doctor on time and given an appointment to get treatment for my condition. Couldn’t ask for more.

Once again exemplary care and attention when my family needed them the most. Telephone consultation the same day - not just a quick 30 second chat but an in depth and thorough analysis. They do an incredible job and I'm shocked to see so much negativity out there for this Surgery. Thank you for everything you do!

I have been with this practice since it opened in Cunliffe street and I can honestly say that in all that time and through all the changes, I have never been treated with anything but courtesy and understanding from every member of the staff. Now at the age of almost 90, that has continued 100%. The doctor who watches over me with my multitudenous ailments, shows expertise and endless patience.
I feel it is my good fortune to have had the care and attention that all members of this practice have shown to me over so many years. Thank you all.

The receptionist was very helpful and was able to answer our questions and concerns as the doctor was unsure on things.
The receptionist was particularly helpful to my elderly Mum. I have since learnt the receptionist is called Liz. Mum rang her today 19/03/20 and again she was really kind and helpful to my Mum.

I cant fault this surgery at all. All the staff are excellent and do a fantastic job.

I have never had problems with getting appointments phoned at 8am today appointment at 9/40 all goes excellent listen to you I don't understand why some people give low scores
