10/10, is a very nice pub with friendly staff.
My son who is a very fussy eater seemed to enjoy it a lot.
The price wasn’t bad but I understand that even if it was there is nothing the staff or management can do as it’s Marstons menu.
The staff was very nice to my family and made us feel very welcome.
Overall was a lovely day out and will be back very soon.

food was amazing, the staff where very accommodating and friendly.. lovely local place to go with friends and family and has been even better since new management took over.. will definitely return

Went in yesterday with my family of 5 to check out the new managers, can’t fault it at all the food and service was spot on nothing like it has been before. Defo be returning again.

Great for our local, always had good food and service here .. very family friendly.. 3 years later still the same, Heather was amazing and worked her end off, Gary was also amazing for a random Wednesday night and being unexpectedly busy, handled the evening well, full of apologies.. great team here.

Really nice food and friendly staff great price aswell two of us had chicken burgers and chips and two had tuna cheese melt baguette very nice would recommend its on the afternoon menu

First time at the pub, food and drinks very good, bar staff are great to get on with,served by Tom who never stop that night, will be going again thank you

just been for a early fathers day and my 21st meal. we both loved the food great quality and great prices. we had 2 for 1 on meals and a dessert.

Our experience was great. The team at the Guild Merchant were attentive and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble and their happy manner was a warm welcome on a freezing day. Food was delicious and was brought to our table in a timely manner. The place looked very festive too. Will definitely see you again. Thank you.

I had a mix grill here, it was awesome and such great value for money. The pub is very clean and tidy. Staff are polite and friendly. You can definitely tell there’s a new team in this pub

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and convenient location

Fantastic friendly experience. Staff are super helpful and accommodating. We were a large group of about 50 Aussies looking for a good feed. With minimal notice of around 30 minutes, the staff at the Guild quickly organised things to accommodate all of us..... best thing was the food is great, staff friendly and beers cold 🤙

We where welcome by friendly staff Emma was great and the manger.
We both had scampi and chips they were very nice and my son had the childrens chicken dippers and chips which he enjoyed.
We where all pleased with our meals and the service

Me and my family popped in the other day for a few drinks. The staff was lovely and welcoming. We was served by Heather who was very helpful and got everything sorted for us quickly. Some of us ordered food but I didn't have any. It all looked great though. We had been told that the place is under new management and you can tell the difference. We will be going again soon!

First visit in a while following management and chef change. Very pleasantly surprised, had a lovely Sunday roast, food and service very good. Back to being our local again!

Had some food & drinks a few days ago with my family and was served by the lovely Natassia. She was really helpful when we had some questions about the menu and was an overall great waitress. Very professional & polite while still being incredibly friendly especially with the kids! Food was good & well priced and drinks weren’t extortionate either (unlike some places these days!) I would visit again!
