A really nice pub, dogs allowed

A very community led pub with values and strong management. I love the banter from the locals who include me in their conversations. Good beer and wine with a friendly atmosphere. Dogs are welcome and given treats by the staff with an outside seating area.

Walked the hubby to his fav haunt dog friendly had half a cider dog had a good drink of water and a packet of pork scratchings you can tell they clean the pumps well cider was crisp clean and tasty plus the sneeky dog treat from the bar (pretend your not looking)

It's easy for me to leave a good review for this pub because it's my local and I learned to drink in here many moons ago. I can honestly say the current owners are the best we have had in a while. The ale is great and the prices are bang on too. If you want to get away from the idiots in the main road pubs, come up here (and bring your dog)

Great range of drinks, two rooms so plenty of room, outdoor drinking area, separate smoking area

Called in for a quick drink with my wife. We're moving to area soon. The staff couldn't of been friendlier. Looking forward to making it our local.

Warm friendly welcome. Good atmosphere. Reasonable prices just over £6 for a large glass of pinio grigio and a small glass of rosé. Normally more than that for a large glass of wine by itself. Plus selling Moorhouses White Witch which my husband says is grand!! Child and dog friendly too

Only had sandwiches on domino night

Back in January I said that this pub has lost its sparkle due to the the landlord who was in at the time. Thankfully that did not last long and the current landlady Bev and her sister Barbara both from Oswaldtwistle are transforming it back to its former glory. It is clean, cosy and has some good beers on tap. Well worth a welcoming visit.

The friendliest pub in Lancashire. Leave your wallet on the table whilst you go out for a cigarette. It will be there when you return. Salt of the earth people. Family friendly, great local pub.

Great local pub very friendly landlord and landlady (Ian and Kate) rest of the staff great. Unfortunately enterprise don't realise this and they are in the midst of ruining a good local pub.

Traditional Pub with a range of real ales on tap. Friendly atmosphere and man's best friends are also welcome.
