The restaurant itself is in a lovely setting, inside is nice and the staff were very attentive. The food was good if unspectacular. Overall, a good experience

We had bread with olives for a starter and the dirty burger and the vegan celeriac steak for mains. The food was delicious (especially the olives and the pickles that came with the burger!).
The service was super fast and staff was very hospitable. Highly recommend

Great atmosphere with beautiful views overseeing small canal. Food was really good with and absolutely worth the price. The customer service was okay but some staff are bit iffy.

The Fishery Inn was the perfect choice for our baby shower! The cozy atmosphere and beautiful decor created such a lovely setting. Ben, the manager, was absolutely amazing! He greeted us with a big smile and made sure everything went smoothly. His attention to detail and willingness to accommodate our requests made the whole experience extra special.

And let's not forget about the food! It was absolutely delicious. The menu had a great variety of options, and everything was prepared with care. The staff took care of all our dietary needs and even surprised us with some adorable baby-themed treats. Overall, the Fishery Inn provided an exceptional experience for my baby shower, thanks to Ben and the wonderful staff. I highly recommend it for any special event!

Today I visited the fishery, what an absolute gem of a place. The manager Ben was so friendly and made me feel so welcome. He also made the BEST espresso martini that I think I have ever had. Will be back for sure!

Had a lovely meal. The recommendations from our waitress Ana was spot on. Would definitively recommend to friends and family food very good the service was 5 star so nice to have such friendly service it really made the occasion for us.

Clean and cozy bar and restaurant. Adequate seating all around. Gets a bit of a young crowd some nights. Food is decent, but wouldn’t go for the food. Drinks are also fairly decent if not a bit expensive.

Recently renovated, interior is smart and tasteful and inviting. Usually a fire on in winter.

Staff fast and efficient and plenty friendly.

Our daughter had a Hen-do , bottomless brunch in the conservatory and the staff were wonderful. A special shout out to Megan, Cat, Ben and Ana who looked after the group wonderfully. Food was great and service outstanding , especially as the Pub was very busy.
Highly recommended.

With a special mention of Anna who was our server. She was very good with an easy manner and a ready smile. The Inn is a great place to eat, extensive menu and they served us with chai latte. Fantastic.

A very cosy and welcoming space, plenty of levels and little nooks to dine with small or large company. Family and dog friendly, good food, great service and lovely atmosphere. Decent parking space, right next to the canal. I've been meaning to visit since they renovated and managed to get an opportunity for a family lunch. Highly recommend. I tried the sourdough pizza, was very nice!

Absolutely delicious with good service in a nicely appointed restaurant in a beautiful setting.
The baked Camembert came with fresh warm fat soft breadsticks, the Nourish bowl with chicken was plentiful and tasty, and the Pork belly with Scallops was light, well cooked and very enjoyable.
An allergy to a salad ingredient was dealt with satisfactorily and with no fuss.
We will be back.

The food was delicious and the service from Ana was amazing. Came for a birthday, and was surprised with a special birthday card written by Ana which was very sweet. Also, as we notified them with an allergy and dietary restriction before arrival, and Ana highlighted all the safe meals on the menu which was extremely helpful and above and beyond. Would definately recommend it 👌

Just had mothers day lunch here and what beautiful food and fantastic service we had even though they were busy nothing was to much trouble, Abbie our waitress was lovely and couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome. Unlike other venues on Mothers Day that pack too many people in , the fishery was the opposite and was a very relaxing place to have a Mothers Day meal, well done to the whole team. Now my biggest thank you to Ben the manager. I had to cancel our Christmas Day booking due to serious illness/operation and Ben was amazing. On Mothers Day we arrived at our table to a bottle of Moat champagne in ice and a card from the team wishing me well, also a visit from ben even though he was very busy in the kitchen. Thank you all so much it made my Day and shows that customers are not just numbers to you, see you again very soon

Went to this restaurant last night and had a lovely time. We were given a warm welcome at the door and seated by Cat one of our group is gluten free and a vegetarian and Cat sat down and went over all the options which made us feel extremely comfortable eating there. Thank you for everything Cat you really made our night! Can't wait to come back soon

This restaurant was simply amazing. Our party came all the way from Essex we were visiting our Grandmother for her 80th birthday and the two managers David and Ben pulled out all the stops to make her feel special and welcome with balloons, a sash, decorations, bottle of Prosecco & even a glass of milk that she requested. Food was incredible, wait times were very reasonable for how busy was and the two waiting staff (Megan & Anna) were friendly, efficient and deserve praise from management for how attentive they were. Everything was reasonably priced and the location was amazing.

It’s always a risk travelling somewhere you’re not familiar with but this restaurant delivered big time. One of the best dine-in experiences I’ve ever had and will definitely be coming back if I’m in the area. Thank you for making our day and our Grandmother feel special.

Always had a brilliant experience eating and drinking at The Fishery. Food is always tasty, great variety on the menu and the service is always very good. Our last visit Ana served us and was exceptional, however everytime we’ve been before we have always received a very friendly, professional service.

A warm welcome from Ben began our most enjoyable Sunday evening dining experience. Cocktails at the bar in this freshly renovated canal side Inn went down a treat! Delicious Sunday Roast, pleasant staff, good service and relaxing atmosphere made for a very warm and comforting evening on a cold frosty Sunday in February!

The wheelchair entrance was a little difficult to negotiate having a raised bar across the doorway. Normally food is ordered at the bar, but because my wife was in a wheelchair a waitress took our orders at our table. The waitress was as very friendly and helpful. The food was very good in all respects.

Great service from Ells, food was great, and all other staff members were very welcoming. Good food but comes with a price tag 😄
