Private members club, one of the few Home Guard Clubs left in the country and run by dedicated volunteers. They hold regular events: live music, quizzes, bbqs, etc. Snooker table, pool, bar billiards. Large room also available for private function hire. Licensed bar with drinks and snacks (crisps, nuts, chocolate) at (very) reasonable prices.

I love the hgc, fantastic people "salt of the earth", run by volunteers, and amazingly good value. It has a full size snooker table and a full size pool table... What would we do without you.
