Holiday Inn Preston, an IHG Hotel

Stayed here overnight on the way to Scotland. Plenty parking spaces. Very warm welcome, had help with luggage. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Shower over bath, would have preferred walk in shower. Not a problem though. Breakfast was excellent. Good food, plenty of choice and help yourself. Would recommend this.

This place is a little gem. The staff are really lovely, friendly and helpful. Check in on Friday afternoon 3rd November was smooth and the lady was just lovely. The restaurant/bar is lovely and breakfast was outstanding! My room was comfortable, clean and modern and the rest of the hotel was quite lovely. Really happy to have booked here.

Here with work. The staff are lovely and incredibly helpful. Didn't stay over, so can't comment on the rooms, but the food is excellent!

Perfect location as I was heading home and needed a stop over night, staff really friendly, food was great, had the football on which was a bonus, room was clean and tidy and beds comfy, no complaints whats so ever, would be happy to stop here again

Arrived and created by a lovely receptionist who explained the hotel to me and ensured that I knew where everything was and timings for dinner and breakfast and of course bar opening :-)

Arrived to my first room to find a dirty town on the floor in the door way as soon as I opened the door so didn’t go any further in to the room but from the door looked like everything else had been done but still you don’t want to be greeted to your room with this. Quick trip down stairs and the lovely receptionist soon apologised for this (although not her fault) changed my room and gave me a comp drink as a way of saying sorry for this

Restaurant food was very nice had the stake and ale pie would be rude not to :-) could do with improved gravy as this was like brown water with how thick it was but rest of main was good. desert Sticky toffee pud nom nom this time custard was like porridge extremely thick and not much of it so that let the desert down

Breakfast was as you would expect no complaints there

All in all a very nice holiday inn will 100% be staying here again when in the area

A hotel with a special atmosphere. I was on business trip in Preston and friendly and helpful staff can also give decent recommendations for leisure time.

A great hotel, far better than I anticipated. Lovely and warm during the cold evenings. Air conditioning to keep you cool during the hot months.

Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety.

The staff are very friendly and very helpful. Our stay was made even better by the very helpful reception team.

I used this Holiday Inn as a one night stopover en route to Scotland and en route back as part of a coach tour.
It gave me a great night's sleep both times.

I was very grateful for the service I received from Polly on the front desk at the Holiday Inn Preston. I was very shaken when I arrived after travelling to the hotel with a faulty brake. Polly was very kind, looked for solutions to my problems and had practical solutions. In general the hotel was very welcoming and the staff accommodating and flexible. I was very relieved.

Very good, handy for the bus station. 10-15 min walk to the station!

Great place to stay if you're out and about in Preston, close to all the bars and restraunts.

Ideally located for what i needed, i accidentally left some items in the room and reception arranged for these to be sent to me

When there for a workshop. The staff and especially the lady at Starbucks were very helpful.

The room was a good size and the bed was pretty comfy despite we were like 'oh it's 2 single beds put together'. We had very good service. I liked the good amount of options for cereal. Breakfast was lovely 😊😁 the location is very handy as you have the bus station opposite / next door

Great hotel. Fantastic location. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Was a great base for getting the coach to our cruise! Recommend if you’re visiting the coach station! Breakfast was also delicious

Fantastic stay, excellent nights sleep. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Very clean in all areas. Only thing that's a concern is the small car park I got the last space but if there was no space I would have had to park in the multi storey opposite which I wouldn't have fancied being a lone female traveller. As I got parked no issues for me just making a comment based on how I found things at the hotel.
