Absolutely beautiful apartments, super clean and easy to check in and out. We highly recommend the ‘secret garden’ apartment and looking to book again in the next couple of months.
The assistant area manager is absolutely fantastic who dealt with my emails quickly and appropriately. Very pleased.

I often travel the country and world for both business and pleasure. My partner and I booked in for Winckley Stays (Preston) and we were incredibly pleased.

Winckley stays will be where I book when looking for accommodation in Preston going forward - could not recommend enough!

I stayed here for a few days for a work trip. The hotel is great - straightfoward check-in, comfortable room and it felt safe. It's also centrally located in Preston which is very convenient. I managed to leave a few personal belongings behind in my room when I left and the team were so kind and helpful in packaging up the items to be collected by a courier to be returned to me - 10/10 service! Thank you!

Loved my stay at Winckley Stays, had an upgrade to the Bouquet room, which was appreciated. Check in/out simple with clear instructions. Location fantastic. When staying in Preston again this will be my first choice.

Amazing place to stay with hassle free checking in which was the easiest I’ve ever found! Room was very very clean and also smelt really nice upon arrival. Plenty of tea and coffee offered in the room too as well as cups etc. TV was good, great picture and good sound.

They gave us a free upgrade as we originally planned to stay in the Rose room and who doesn’t love a free upgrade?

Only downside (which I’m not going to penalise for) was the fire alarm went off three times, no fault of their own as I assume it was another guest setting them off.

We stayed for one night on a Saturday. Check in easy and stress free. Great location to the town centre, everything within walking distance, with a close car park (£10 for 24 hrs)
We stayed in ‘The Study’ very clean and tidy, nice sized bathroom.
Bed was nice and comfy. The room overall is quite small and very warm, but we just opened the windows. The only thing I would say is a bit of a pain is there is no full length mirror, and not much room at the small bedroom mirror when getting ready. There is also only plug sockets on one side of the bed.
Overall we would definitely stay again, we had a lovely stay!

Needs a few bits fixing and I'd not eat here but I was warm and cosy .

Make sure you ask what time your check out is .

I'm still staying here but found some time to write a review and didn't want to forget to as this hotel is amazing.
Even the introduction and check-in email feom Ross was great. I was lucky enough to be allowed to check-in nearly 3 hours early at no extra cost plus I was upgraded to a better room and it's honestly the best room I have stayed in and well below the cost of others not even close to the standard. The decor is fantastic and super clean. Chloe on reception was great with welcoming me and explaining things. Do yourself a favour and stay here if you're in Preston. You'll definitely feel you've picked a winner.

Nice and cozy rooms , contactless check-in, very clean and tidy . Great location too.

This is perfect! The rooms are so beautiful and comfortable along with the continental breakfast and kitchen area there is everything you could need for a really comfortable stay. It's only minutes from some nice restaurants and bars. Top tip limited parking but there is parking in the street which is fine until 8am then you get 2 hours free so no need to move car until 10am.

It was enjoyable. We had the secret garden Room for a one night romantic getaway (dropped the kids off somewhere along the way). I won't give it away with photos...but if you are expecting there to be a real life garden or a courtyard it's not that. The only tiny things very slightly negative are the £10 parking off-site and if you are in this room and are very tall it might become annoying after more than one night. I also really wish reception hadn't shouted out what the charge for the room was when we were checking in as better half had no clue about the charge or that it was a secret room. Location is great for town centre restaurants until 263 re opens and it is extremely quiet at night time but walkable back if weather good. Let's hope Winckley Square Hotel leads the way and we get a 5 star hotel in Preston soon. We will be back and so will at least 3 of our friends who have booked already!

We couldn't fault our stay at winckley square hotel, great communication from chloe before we got there, and the staff on arrival were very welcoming. They had kindly upgraded our room as well, which was a real bonus, the room was spotless and there was plenty of tea and coffee at hand, the mini bar was well stocked also, I can't say a bad word really, I'm sure we'll be back and I will recommend to family and friends, the price was also very reasonable.

What a beautiful surprise! We stayed for a little getaway. Setting and decor are astonishing. Our room was spacious and finely decorated. It was the best night I’ve had in a while; that bed was so comfy, I felt reinvigorated! Finally, the breakfast in the Brasserie was just delicious. We will be back for sure.

Our stay in the J'Adore apartment at Winckley Square hotel was fantastic. The room is maintained the a very high standard, the decor and attention to detail in the design are amazing and the bed gave me probably one of the best nights sleep I've ever had away from home!

The hotel's city centre location is incredibly helpful, just a short walk from the train station, but also in a quieter part of town so there is no noise from outside to disturb you. In the same vein, during our stay at night we didn't hear any of the other guests in their room which also helped with the sound night's sleep.

Ross and his team provided great service and really made us feel welcomed and I would recommend staying at this hotel to anyone!

Such a lovely hotel with lovely staff. We went last night for a little mini honey moon, the staff had put petals and candles on the bed and around the room which was a lovely surprise. Close to all local bars, restaurants and clubs. Wish we had booked to stay longer than just one night. Will definitely return in the future.

What can I say, we were blown away with this place me and my partner stayed for a evening in the Mayfair suite and it was incredible.
It was beautiful and so clean and the finishing touches were incredible we loved it that much we booked again instantly thanks so much Lauren-Sara for the best stay

Really nice place! Quality room, well decorated and smart, the added bonus of having a small kitchenette too, perfect for my stay.
Maybe a little hard to notice from the road but it's exactly where Googlemaps sais it is, and there is a private carpark just around the corner (2minute walk) for a small fee

Beautiful hotel! The receptionist was amazing upon check in, and the Secret Garden room blew us away.
The mini breakfast in the room was a lovely alternative while the restaurant is closed, and the whole place was quiet so both nights were a comfortable sleep!

So well-looked after by John. Great welcome, he also sorted out taxis and restaurants. Made sure that my husband who was in a wheelchair was able to manage everything. Shame about the noisy couple in the room next door who treated us to a cabaret through the wall at 3am

What a great little boutique hotel. Rooms were really nice with own bathroom and amenities. A walk in winkley square garden was refreshing before a hearty full English breakfast.
Steak dinner at their inhouse Flanagan's bistro was yummy.
We will definitely stay again and will share with others.
