Lovely experience, great pub with very friendly staff. Rooms to the side of the pub were excellent, just the right size and very clean. Well worth a visit

Six of us had lunch here including my 2 year old daughter. A wonderfully traditional pub with an open fire, friendly dogs and a kind and chatty manager. Delicious food freshly prepared. There is also a wonderful playground 1-2 minutes from the pub. Next time we're in the area we'll try the accommodation. Thank you for having us!

A really fantastic pub and restaurant. We were staying in the area and found on Google maps. The staff we’re really amazing, helpful and accommodating (not always in the case when you have a pram with you!). The food was absolutely first class, some of the best we’d ever had. The pub itself has the look and feel you’d want and expect from a village location like this. Couldn’t recommend more.

Really excellent, quintessential English pub.
The White Horse is old and still retains it's historic vibes. Beautiful old wood paneling and flagstone floors you can be forgiven for thinking you've stepped back in time a bit.
Well stocked bar with lots of beers on tap and a roaring log fire in the winter too.
Step free access to bar from car park, so fine for wheelchairs and those qith limited mobility -just be aware the original flagstone floor is a little uneven.
It's not a massive place, so not great for large parties (10 I'd think is a max) but has a good amount of space inside and out (over covid they've put some nice summer tents outside so english weather shouldn't be a problem)
The food is excellent quality (their Sunday roast options are fab). Little pricier than average, but the quality is top class.
Friendly and accommodating staff. Service was a little slow on food during Sunday lunchtime, but other than that had a really good birthday lunch there.
Always enjoy a trip here.

This is as much a pub as a hotel. Michael the owner/chef is a sensational cook. This is gastro pub at its best. The burger is the best in the area. Better than dirty burger at Soho farmhouse. Streaks are to notch and the veggie dishes are no afterthought. Great atmosphere and a cost pub for a pint to boot. A local gem

One of (if not the) best pubs in the area. Imagine a lovely cosy country gastro pub, the White Horse is better. The food is incredible, go for the pork belly if it's on the menu, the Sunday roast and burger are also wonderful.

Food brilliant, early service good but after main course almost nonexistent. Had to ask for desert menu and then tea/coffee AND bill! Miserable and stroppy staff

Cant fault anything apart from the people at the next table who were very loud finger suckers 😂.Food was really nice. Service was great. Environment of the pub was warm and cosy and always great when dogs are allowed in.

I love this pub. The food is amazing with the chicken wings and ribs particular highlights. They also offer a take away service, which is great. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Stopped for a warming tea, I asked if they sold anything sweet and the bar man gave me a mince pie! So sweet! The place was warm and so serum. Was nice to witness the locals enjoying a drink together. Lovely. They had an amazing xmas tree too, an 11 footer! Xxx

Love this traditional pub with an excellent menu and a great atmosphere! As soon as you walk through the door, you feel transported to a less frantic age, but with all the benefits of modern food and an excellent pint!

Terrific food, cozy atmosphere and very hospitable staff. Owner was very welcoming and genuine. Also, the most colourful and tasty Pimms concoction I have ever seen - truly unique!

We ate there last night. They had a wedding and were full. It didn't make a difference to the service or quality of food. Absolutely wonderful.

Good old style pub (I.e. not a plastic palace!). Excellent bar food and they also have a separate restaurant that is probably just as good. We will be back to try more!
