Chesham Cottage Chinese Takeaway

We order from Chesham Cottage on a semi regular basis. It’s our favourite in town, not sure what everyone else is on about in their reviews as we’ve never had a problem with the food or service. It can be a long wait for delivery, which they will inform you of. If it’s too long, you can go and pick it up. Easy as water meadow car park is a very short walk away.
The food is some of the best Chinese I’ve had, and I’ve had a few! The dim sum options are especially excellent. The mock meat options are a welcome sight on the menu if we ever have any vegan guests around who like to get the meat experience without the meat.
And now you can order online, superb!

Fantastic food. First time going and we went on my partners birthday. It was heaving but we only waited 5 minutes (if that) for them to have a table ready for us and service was impeccable. The obvious manager/owner really rallied the team and there were lots of smiles even though it was clearly such a busy day! :)

Had such a lovely evening and the range of Chinese food on the menu was great; the service was amazing and they make you feel so welcome. Highly recommed and I'll definitely be going back!

We decided to have a chinese takeaway - after reading some of the reviews I wasn't sure about The Chesham cottage. However my son had said they were very good so we ordered. The order was taken very quickly and I was told it would be ready in 25 mins, just time to get over there- WOW - the food was delicious - the very best Chicken and sweetcorn soup I have ever tasted, every dish was fabulous and plentiful, no soggy batters here - Don't take any notice of the bad reviews - we have had chinese from a very good source over the last couple of years and this was far superior. There were chinese people running the restaurant and the service we received was equal to the first class food. Can't wait till next weekend - I'm thinking of booking a table for my birthday treat.

Very nice place, delicious Chinese food at very reasonable prices. Best Chinese food we had for a long long time. Friendly staff who really takes good care of you. We highly recommend this place.

Amazing food and lovely staff wouldn’t go anywhere else

Food is tasty and the portions is at good size to share. A bit more expensive but it is worth it. Spicy King Prawn & Duck rice is my fav.

The Dim Sum, Crispy Peking Duck, Chinese Chicken in a sauce with sweetcorn, just to mention a few dishes that are a must to try and highly recommend Chesham Cottage which is a family run restaurant.

Great tasting food, great service. Get food delivered a couple of times a month and never had any problems with either the food or the service!
